View Full Version : The fall of the Dragon Egg
We're seeing the fall in price dramatically of the Dragon Egg.
When do you think it will stop decreasing? What was its downfall?
Everyone loves them, but supply is much higher than demand it seems at the moment!
One was in the mp earlier for 354c

I don't think its just the dragon egg. The marketplace destroys values. Look at the little cup trophies for example. Then of course the diner poster has dropped quite a bit recently. Its just a snowball effect, for example avg 50c. People keep putting in at 49c, until thats average, then again down to 48. I think the reason the dragon egg stands out more as its the highest outta the bunch.

Yeah but that can also be a good thing, if things are in high demand the prices will go up :) for example recently rainbows shot up also I noticed pillows going back up as well. :)

It will go back up, the Dragon egg is notorious and a popular furni. Everything must go up, to come back down and vice versa. Just look at the Thrones value over 7 years.
i'm pretty sure theyre going to rise again
It would go down that much JUST after I get one :P

Im pretty sure they will rise again; but my bet is that they'll go down to like 320c, possibly even 300c before they start rising :)

The thing is with the marketplace everyone is trying to under bid each other so they can sell faster. This ruins the average but makes them easier to obtain. Pretty soon someone will know its going down to far and then start charging up the ying yang for them again.
I think as well it's people being desperate to sell them because they know they're dropping so sellers are willing to lower their price.
think someone has already said this but marketplace has ruined values

As far as I know, we are yet to see one rare which has risen a signifigant amount under the marketplace.
