I managed to complete the elite 4/catch the legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Black and now have access to the National Pokedex. I'd really love to create a 'crack team' of Pokemon from all five generations, so what I'm looking for is some suggestions for my team. :D

Currently I'm looking at:

Fire/Flying - Reshiram
Grass - Serperior
Poison (with Fighting moves) - Nidoking

I need Pokemon for Electric, Water and some other random type.

I'll +rep good suggestions, etc.

Thanks!

Electric: Electivire (Sinnoh ) - He's bad ass
Water: Blastoise (Kanto)

I dont know if you can get these in black and white as I haven't tried but you could probably find out on google. ^_^

Yeah I like Blastoise. I think the only way I can get it is through Heart Gold/Soul Silver though.

Can't you get it from the online trade thingy with wifi? :(

don't you have volcarona from black? you can get it once you get the national pokedex, it's a bug/fire type
plus it's level 70 when u find it

I probably could, but it looks quite complicated and people seem to be a bit stingy about what they want in return.

Nope, I didn't know about that. Cheers :D

Espeon if you wanted a Johto phychic type, it's fast and has immense special attack.

Or for an electric Raichu! ;) They're quite good pokemon actully, mine was brilliant on LeafGreen. Why did I restart. :(

Blastoise is unfortunately a pretty crap water pokémon despite looking cool - his attack stats far outweigh sp. attack so his actual water moves don't do as much as something like Lapras would. Lapras is a good option for the dual ice moves and STAB damage on that in case you come across dragons and grass fools who get in your way :P

For electric Jolteon used to be the business but for some reason they nerfed its stats in Gen 2 ;| no idea why. It's still pretty hefty but I prefer Electabuzz as (since Platinum) they can use all of the elemental punch moves which gives you a pretty decent variation whoever you come up against. There are other non-electrics who can also use them all obv but Electabuzz looks too cool to dismiss lol

You don't have a Gen 2 guy in your team yet so possibly add in their answer to Dragonite - Tyranitar. It has the same immense attack abilities as Dragonite while being rock/dark type and thus able to hit some massive physical damage alongside crunch to devastate ghosts and psychics

Aha Blissy seems a little lame. Thanks anyway :P

You learn something new every day. I do quite like the idea of Tyranitar though, thanks!

Blissy is easy to defeat if you know how, use a high attack pokemon and use either outrage or high jump kick. boom.

Or just use toxic or curse and hinder it's health.

So I'm thinking:

Fire: Arcanine (replacing Reshiram)
Flying: Braviary
Water/Ice: Lapras
Electric: Luxray
Poison/Fighting: Nidoking
Grass: Serperior

I think it's quite a well-rounded team.

Near enough any fighting pokemon will take them out 1 or 2 hits unless it has a crap moveset. Double weakness and the only way you can get lower defense than Blissey is using one of its pre-evolved forms, while most fighting pokemon obviously have decent enough attack stats. Also Blissey is slow as hell

I think I'll be keeping away from Blissey. I am certainly thinking of replacing Nidoking though - he's just not getting the job done.
