What's the stupidest mistake you've made on a test or exam lately?
I solved for the roots of a nasty math function but didn't simplify my answer on the very last step and lost all the points for it.

Got all my Biology facts wrong and wrote a freakin long essay about something else that don't even make sense! That's stupid but I'm trying to improve my Biology! ... That wasn't the stupidest mistake ever. The stupidest ones are I spelt 'surprise' wrongly as 'suprise' and I forgot how to round off numbers. I mean those were like really basic but I forgot it! Urgh :(

My mistake would be on my Health and Social Care exam paper I didn't write long answers for questions with 7 answerlines, instead I wrote 2 lines worth. In future I need to stop being lazy and rack my brains for the answers because I do actually know them... :/

I spelt my name wrong!
And I have the EASIEST surname ever (its only 3 letters lol)
Well mine wasn't recent as such, but nevertheless I shall share with you.
My mistake was thinking that exams didn't matter, so I spent most of my exam life annoying the invigilator :) Such as dropping my pencil and having them pick it up, and requesting them to read out a sentence for me because I was "incapable of reading it"

This was me putting it as a joke then an accidental mistake. But a couple of years back i took my GCSE music, i knew i was going to fail along with my class as for about 3/4 of the year we had no teacher so when a question popped up which asked:
Whats the diffrence between a Quaver and a Semi Quaver i couldn't resist not to put that one is a Crisp and the other is a Half eaten Crisp... I felt so smug and even smugger that when i got the exam back i didnt actually fail haha XD
I forgot how to work out the area of a cylinder.

A question got asked in a mock physic paper saying 'how many stars are in the solar system' and i put billions, but its not its 1. Pure fml :(
I'm going to turn this into a stupid mistake by the examiner:
On my geography mock paper I was finished about 40 mins before the exam ended so I wrote pointless facts on the back of the paper from QI. For this, I got an extra 20 marks and she commented "Useful information, please remember to clearly show which question you are answering as there was some confusion with this answer"
Brought me up to a C so yh okay....
I couldn't identify the third GRASP pattern in my software systems engineering exam recently. I knew there was a facade controller, role controller but couldn't think of the other one for the life of me. I could even describe the other two well. I'd revised it loads as well :\
I chose the wrong question in my Jan politics paper and ended up doing quite bad.

I put a strike through my correct solution in a maths paper because I assumed that it was too easy to be correct and that I must have made a mistake. Never again.

Lol brilliant. In my french listening I had a question that said "why does person A say that person B annoys them". I got the answer to that and the next question says "state why". I didn't get the answer so just put "because she said so" which kinda makes sense.

not really recent but wrote my English exam in essay form instead of an article, she said it was really well written but couldn't give me more than a C cause of the layout. thank god it was just a mock, I tend to do terribly in practises so get very little encouragement from teachers ;) at least I do well when it matters

I have another one...
A* English student. Wrote about the wrong film in my controlled assessment, luckily it was a practice. My teacher said it was good enough to get an A* but he wouldn't be able to give me more than a C because it's the wrong film lool.

this wasnt a mistake but I feel pretty stupid for mentioning it. In my english language paper, the media question, I somehow managed to reference baywatch to the poster that was provided. And then i n the describe section (whatever language paper that is) i hinted how someones mother had naughty sex with their husband. Lol if that gets me an A.

This was on wendesday, worst hour of french of my LIFE!
so first on the listening there was this question which i thought meant cross OR tick the right things, and leave blank the wrong things, like always. Nope, it was tick the right things, cross the wrong things. I used crosses ;( {ended up with 21/35 so not that bad!}
THEN when i found out my mistake after the test when a girl said "oh, we were meant to tick the boxes too?" i paniced and did not put my name on the reading test. I told sir in the lunch hall the same day when my friend mentioned "there was no space on the reading test for a name, i bet somebody has forgotten to write it!"
He must think im thick as a brick.
