View Full Version : [Bobba] Habbo deleted my account.
I recently came to learn that they deleted my account which I tried to retrieve.
That had a lot of furni on and 30 months worth of play.
Is there any reason to this?
Habbo claims that they only delete accounts that haven't been access in x many months, and have no active subscriptions on them and have no furni
I think one of mine was deleted too, Habbohore, even though I had logged onto it fairly recently and it did have furni on it :(
I've had a few deleted. Some were immediately re-registered. Such as 'Alamo' and 'lila'. lila was an 01 as well! Shame I couldn't remember my recovery info. It had been like 6 years or what ever..
was it merged?
I didn't have the necessary information to merge it which annoyed me. I tried doing "forgotten password" back in October and it didn't send me an email.

Sadly all the unmerged accounts were deleted. If it's not rare at least you can get back the username

That is hilarious, i play for ages spend £100~ and try merging but they offer no help at all (they fed me 3 incorrect passwords) and then delete it. wow

Was wondering if you could sue them for this?

Was wondering if you could sue them for this?No lol, they own your account and everything on it, they can do whatever they please with it.
Just looked in the Terms & Conditions for Habbo, since when did you have to be 13 to sign-up? :O +rep if anyone can explain this.

You have always had to be 13+ to register.

I registered when I was 12, with my actual DOB, so in the UK it was 12 (or was)

I was about 9 when I registered, I too registered with my real DOB. I don't think they had an automatic restrictive script on the registration page back then to reject everyone under the age of 13. - I believe they do now though.

Well from when I joined in 2005, it's been 11 and older up until this change (probably when the merge came about?).

The age was 11, but just recently changed it to 13 because that is the teenage start year.

To an extent. He did waste £100 (or so he says) on Habbo so he should be given some right to an explanation to why his account was deleted. I think he can complain to someone that an organisation he used has taken his money and not delivered the appropriate services.

If this is so, how come there are loads of popular names that are innactive since ages ago which have not been deleted.
Sorry to hear about your lost account though, I don't understand Habbo's system atm as they don't tell us.

It says in their T&C's that they can delete an account that has been inactive for 6 months so you won't be able to complain to them as technically you agreed to them being able to do that ;P

I believe people who didn't log on during the merge or not that much during the merge was quickly deleted of Habbo. Anyone agree?
