Wiped my computer,now it can't connect. +rep

I recently wiped a laptop and a regular computer, and now after reinstalling the windows operating systems again neither is connecting to the internet.

I believe the computer is a dell, windows 2000.
From what i can tell its a driver issue,but i have no idea on how to fix it.
also note that i am able to use a direct wire connection, so wireless cards can be ruled out right away as a problem.

Model number?

Defiantly a driver issue, if you can use wired and not wifi then Google:
