If your bored of it, then your bored of it.. You can try take a break from the game, a month or even a few months and then return to play again, or you can just find something completely new and play that.

Take a break from skilling and play minigames like Castle Wars? Or pk/stake if you're into that sort of thing.
If you're bored of it though, then just don't play. Don't force yourself, it's a game.. you're supposed to enjoy it.

If you do the same activities day after day chances are you will get bored (Unless your Neversoft and absolutely love Castle wars, and you even go to castle wars on xp weekends ;l)

Train different skills, when you in the mood youll find you can end up training over 6-7 skills easily without realising it at times.

quests? Have a target of a quest that you can't do yet, find out what levels you need and get them levels and then do all the quests you need to do that quest and then do that quest and BOOM before you know it it's been more than 3 days and you didn't realise because you were having so much FUNNNN!

it does work actually. I had a target of getting 71 prayer along with lunar diplomacy and temple at sennisten. Got all the levels, did about 5-6 other quests and almost a week later im bored again because i was so busy having fun doing quests and getting my prayer up that I need another target quest/level to go for

I would just take a break, I find it gets very boring after a while. xD Ofc you could set your self a target, but that may get a bit tedious.

And OP, I'd suggest doing quests as well as someone else said. I find it more fun if you don't use a guide, and you can team up with friends or randomers. It's also good for unlocking new areas and items and should get your interest back in the game.

Rofl. :P I do get bored of castle wars eventually though. :( I hardly go on Runescape anymore because whenever I do it's to play castle wars, but I think I have finally played one game too many. Well... then again... there may be room for a couple more. :8
