How long did it take for yours to heal and how long before you changed it? I had mine done 8, nearly 9 weeks ago and the piercer said I could go to her to change it at 3 weeks but she gave me an aftercare sheet that says 12 weeks - 1 year and online I've heard 6 months? I'd ring her but they're closed for a week. I've been doing sea salt soaks twice a day. Also does it hurt a bit when you first change it? It was a bit uncomfortable when she first put the bar in. I don't want the same thing to happen that happened with my nose because I had my nose pierced and school said I had to put a retainer in for a week then I couldn't wear a retainer after that and at 5 weeks I tried putting a retainer in and the back of it closed up when I was doing it :( I miss my nose piercing :(
