am i the only one who misses when habbo currency was rubber ducks and HC sofas?
No body likes change and now the 'economy' of habbo revolves around these stupid little coins, and what used to be classed as richness, has become nothing, it seems as though now thrones are becoming what HC's were!
i'm in dislike with this.

I am pro these changes!
Coins are much more useful and HCs were incredibly ugly, I do hope thrones drop as a currency as I'm not a fan of using Furni as a base price (this is also why I hated HCs)

Ugh? Why are there Thrones and super rares? :P
I love the new Habbo and just wish it stays as it is.
I personally don't miss HC sofa's because credits just obliterated them in terms of usefulness and desirability.
I did however have about 120 HC's on an old account. When I came back late last year they were worth 3c per. and when i left thrones were about 25HC a pot. :P

I guess coins are associated with a common, easy to understand value like cents, dollars, pounds and pence so when they were introduced they became more monetary valued than pixelated, virtual furniture :P These changes are alright, I do miss the old days though but they were very dodgy :P
I think hc's and coins are just as good as each other
i personally loved it when it was ducks and hcs :'(
guess habbo is just a fun sucker :(

Coins should always be the currency; who cares bout ducks.
i actually can't stand trading now. everything devalued :{
I hate the new currency!
With the stupid marketplace, nobody does "decent" shops any more. So if you want something, you've always got to look in the marketplace. If its not a popular item, you usually end up spending more than you would.
Then if you sell your rares for coins, Habbo end up bringing out a new furniture range and because you have the coins, you feel the need to try it out. All these Habbo games cost a lot too! I spent around 500c on my Battle Banzai and 400c on my Freeze games. They wont work if me or somebody has rights in the room and I find it completely useless :(
Sulake no longer care about the older users who've they've devalued.

Does that really matter? Coins are so much better and I've been playing since 2004

Sounds like you are complaining that there's too much good stuff to spend your credits on!
I do agree on the Habbo Games costing a huge amount. One of my wired maze rooms cost a good 200c - i'm sure you can relate to that too Plebings :P
As for the devaluation of items. Yes you can blame the marketplace for that! Convenience is always going to cost you that little bit more. But in terms of what you are able to get by looking in furniture shops for say 1c, is quite amazing. I actually think it would have cost you more to get the items you needed when you had to trade for them. I agree with GommeInc, it's more relatable to our own currency.
Habbo's might also complain about the devaluation of items, but surely that's a good thing. You don't then have to spend as much credits as you would have done to get the furniture you need? We all miss the past, but those times are over and will never be back. If you want the nostalgic feeling back, I suggest running a copy of Debbo V3.5 or something :P
It's been a very long time on Habbo for me but in the long run, it has defiantly improved.

Do agree on wired costing too much ;) really need pixel discounts
I absolutely agree, the wired cost far too much for what it is!

Yes it does, if you would of only been playing habbo a little while before the price changes and stuff you point would be more or less completely invalid.
I have also played since 2004, and plenty of people i know saying coins ruined the game.

It really depends what you play Habbo for, for some it's not such a big deal, for others it's a game changer. For me it didn't ruin the game and I always hated trading with Furni (which lead to my hatred of the throne as a currency), so it was beneficial for me, for others like yourself it may have ruined your experience
I don't get how coins ruined Habbo????
They're a lot more stable, relatable form of currency. HC's were a terrible form of currency! It was bound to happen sooner or later, coins or not. I agree with Plebings!
