Sony reveals Welcome Back package

Sony revealed today their Welcome Back package which gives non PS Plus Subscribers 30 days members. Current subscribers get 60 days. In addition you get to pick 2 games out of 5. They are, Infamous, Dead Nation, Wipeout HD, LBP and Ratchet & Clank Quest for Booty. Yeah, I'll believe that when it happens, but as of now, it seems pretty likely. Also Password resetting is now back up so you can finally recover ur account if you haven't done so yet.

The Playstation Network will be down from 4pm today until 12am. The maintenance will be bringing back the Playstation Store. If you want to go online when it's down you have to sign in before it goes down.

It was crashing earlier due to high amounts of people trying to get on it.

I will get inFamous.. pleased I decided not to buy it though, people recommended it when I was looking for open worlds, look forward to getting it for free!

oops i just kept retrying and got to the welcome pack page of the store, then yano how it comes up with 3 things.. free games, free plus etc. Well I tried to get them both but got the error so retried 100 times and now they've vanished off the welcome pack page lol?

If you went in the games one then backed out then you need to go to something under account settings, check the eu blog itll say how to get back to it.

Anyway downloading my nice dead nation and infamous as we speak, got the 2 themes which were free to (keep 4 evz).

Dunno bout the ability to download the games from 2 or more accounts as I never got a reply back. As for the Downloading problem where the games have vanished.....

On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”

Yeah I've done it now woo. Ratchet and clank downloading now. Probably go with Infamous aswell.

Proper pissed that I've lost my psp charger though. If I find it does anyone know how to restore a psp after it's been hacked? :(

Guys i can confirm that you can get all 5 games if you use 3 accounts!
Infamous, Ratchet and Clank, WipeoutHD and LBP combined equal as close to 13gb

I have infamous and lbp ( 1 and 2 ) allready so I got ratchet and clank however its taken 3 hours to download and has like 2 more to go -.-. I exited the welcome pack screen while it was downloading in background and the menu has disappeared so I don't think i can download the others. I googled them and they look crap tbh anyway.
