What's your favourite Habbo memory? Either on the hotel or staff gossip/stories
I have loads of memories, but I must admit to having lots and lots and lots of laughs with flynn500. We are a right pair of ladies, laughing until we wet ourselves! As she was in the office, we’d speak over IM and we have similar sense of humor, so I am not sure what the other guys in the UK office must have thought when she’d be giggling away. I miss her terribly:(

How long have you been staff and how did you get the job there? I want a job!!
I’ve been working in Habbo since 2004. I was originally a Hobba, then I got a moderator job, I then moved to Player Support, then to Assistant Community manager, all on co.uk then I went to Community Coordinator on .com How did I get the job? Well I guess I was a fantastic volunteer and showed my potential!
Jurv (http://www.habbo.com/home/Jurv)
If there was one question or problem you don't like answering or dealing with what would it be?
I am not a fan of unauthorized spending, (that’s buying credits without asking for permission). I really would love for that to stop. You should ALWAYS ask before you buy!(yn)
Sailerman123 (http://www.habbo.com/home/Sailerman123)
What is the most commen question you are asked?
Can I be unbanned? Moral is if you don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime :P
AidenFTW24 (http://www.habbo.com/home/AidenFTW24)
Have you ever been put into an awkward situation, to do with your current job weather it be in or out the office, if so what was it and how did you overcome it?
I went on a training course a while ago for something safety and we were asked to get into groups to discuss something. That was awkward because I am not a fan of public speaking and I nearly passed out, I didn't actually have to stand up and speak though which was a relief! It’s a phobia of mine, hated it at school, doing the oral assignments for English *shudders.

Do you think Habbo is only for teen's? Or do you think even adults can play Habbo and still enjoy it?
There is no upper age limit, yes it is primarily used by teens, but I certainly know of a few adults that go into Habbo and enjoy it. When I ever get time, I like to go in play about with rooms and mingle with you guys, and I’m an adult.
Matts (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=60298)
Hey 0rca,
Just wondering, how highly do you personally value habbo fansites? Do you see them as important/useful to habbo, and why?
I do value the fansites, that is why I offered to take over some of the duties with them. I feel they are useful because Habbos spend a lot of time on them listening to the radio etc and its extra enjoyment for the Habbos while they are playing.
Eoin247 (http://www.habbo.com/home/Eoin247)
Just wondering how did you come about to choose the name Orca? Is there a story behind it or was it just a random choice?
Here we go… So I said above, I used to be a mod, and when I moved to Player Support, I was still doing a little bit of moderating, so was told to choose a completely different name. Mainly so that when I was on Mod I wasn’t asked player support type questions, as they are different roles. So I am a love of Killer whales (Orcas) so wanted that name, I couldn’t use Orca as someone selfishly already had it  so I used a zero instead. Phew!
OhLiam (http://www.habbo.com/home/OhLiam)
Hi Orca,
..you have worked for Sulake a very long time therefore have add experiences with all ex-staff who was the most pleasure to work with and why?
That is a tough one, I have worked with so many wonderful people, including my mum! Lots of people have taught me so much, and helped me with my career and I’ll always be so grateful to so many of them. Naming names I think would be wrong, but everyone knows who they are and how much respect I have for a lot of the people I have worked so closely with.
Headlines (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=53791)
We recently heard that you're now in charge of fansites at Sulake. Fansites seem to have been neglected by Habbo and Sulake over the last couple of years, especially it would seem since the merge of all five English speakings hotels. What are your intentions to improve the rapport between fansites and Habbo and what sort of stuff could we expect to see in the coming months from Habbo in terms of fansites?
Also, will Gold Tier Fansites be reintroduced?
At first my intentions are to improve the communications between us and the fansites, which I am hoping we are doing. That is my main plan, I have taken over the administrative side of things for the moment so I cannot promise or tell you what is to come as my first goal is to get us all talking and then we can go from there. I am not ‘in charge’ of the everything to do with fansites at present, I am just a go between for the moment.
rug (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=65372)
What's been you're most happy/exciting expierence from you're experience with sulake?
Hmmm, I’ve had lots of experiences with Habbo, I guess the most exciting was first being employed and given the opportunity, I guess that can lead to the happiest because I am still here and loving it!
Zak (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=33322)
Hello 0rca, my question to you is this:
Which update do you think made the biggest impact on Habbo Hotel and thus improved it the most?
Well there have been sooo many. The biggest would have to be the merge of the English speaking hotels. That was a massive adjustment to you guys and the staff, but I think now its coming up to the year, I think all have adjusted. It’s a much bigger community and it gives everyone chance to mingle across the pond.
Jack (http://www.habbo.com/home/Jaxd)
My question for you:
You are stuck on a desert island, with nothing but:
1 item (e.g. TV, flash light)
1 person (e.g. Medic, comedian)
1 animal (e.g. your pet cat/dog)
Which item, person & animal would you bring and why?
Oh my word jaxd you should know better to ask me to choose such a thing. How can I pick one of each?
1 Item – I’d say Tv but I doubt there would be leccy, could take a battery one, but they’d soon run out. Do they do solar powered TVs? But then I doubt I’d then get sky plus! Hmmm so TV is out then. Mobile phone I think to call for help :p
1 Person – I’d say my daughter but then that’s not really fair her being stuck there too, so then she’d need to stay at home with her daddy so I can’t say him. So I’d say my sister. We both need to lose weight |-) Don't tell her I said that! plus she’d keep me entertained.
Animal – again I wouldn’t want to take my pets because well wouldn’t be fair. My cat is a diabetic and there’d be no where to keep his insulin. I think I’d take a cow so we have milk and can make cheese
This was my favorite question BTW!
Jessicrawrr (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=62241)
When you didn't work at habbo, did you know about or did you go on habbo?
Yes, I joined Habbo when it first opened in 2001. My brother rang me up and told me to go on it. I didn’t go on it a huge amount I was a young adult at the time so didn’t spend a lot of time indoors at the computer as I was a party girl :P but then I got more into it when I became a Hobba and it went from there.
Nar (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=65102)
what would you say is the one thing about your job that people wouldn't really expect?
I really don't know how to answer that one, I'm a bit stumped, I'm not sure what you guys expect :S
Catz (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=17293)
What is the inspiration for your Habbo look? Thanks.
I usually dress my Habbo up in clothes that represent the weather in UK, or how I’m feeling on the day of changing clothes. I normally wear purple because that’s my fave colour, and the ears because they are white cats ears like my own cat.
pearlharbour? (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=78221)
when you were younger what did you want to be when you grew up? did you play habbo when you were younger?
I wanted to work with children or animals. A social worker was at the top of my list. I’d love to work in a wildlife rescue even as a volunteer. They do great work and would be rewarding. I am a big animal lover.
Yuxin (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=63975)
Well I wonder, why did the merge happen, I mean for many people like nothing good has happend like habbo being laggier, people leaving, whats good about it and why did it happen?
We wanted to make Habbo a much bigger community and merging all of the English speaking Habbos together made a lot of sense. Habbo has expanded so much over the last year with new upgrades weekly. I personally feel that it’s a much better environment now. Not many people like change and things do need to be got used to but come on look at the dragons, they are awesome and something like that wasn’t here this time last year.

In the past we've had some pretty epic Habbo Staff members, who all seem to have an obsession with some kind of Food/Drink. We've had Callie and her Jaffa Cakes (yum) and Helkat with her Tea. What I would like to know is, If you could have just one Food/Drink you would have to just eat/drink for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Chocolate/Cake/Cheese Does it count as one if I don’t put a space between the words :p Milk chocolate, white chocolate, galaxy, snickers, wispa, aero the list could go on if I could without actually pausing half way to go buy some. Carrot cake, coffee cake chocolate cake. Macaroni cheese, spaghetti with grated cheese and tomato sauce, cheese by itself. Geee I can’t pick one sorry!
Rozi (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=29913)
Hiya, my question is when you browse fansites (I assume you do)do you only look at the habbo sections or do you look at the non-habbo sections too?
I look at anything that catches my eye (H) If something jumps out at me shouting read me, I will look at it.
dbgtz (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=28789)
Do you miss running the habbo x program with colmc and do you think it should be brought back?
There were some aspects of the X program. I enjoyed, but it did run its course. At present I don’t think it should come back no.
Pigperson (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=41868)
Hey 0rca, nice to see the only UK staff member here, shame others didn't join you in the merge but we are all happy that you are flying the flag for us Brits
My question is:
What were you like when you were (as Habbo users say) "a noob" and what is the one thing that attracts you to Habbo and keeps you enticed?
I started Habbo when I was an adult(ish) and just at the time thought it was funny and was just like any other person playing really. Only went in and chatted with my brother, who lives a way away from me. I never really got into trading and I am still not good at making rooms. Some Habbos are super talented on that front.
What attracts me is I just love the guys that develop the furni/pets. It always amazes me how talented they are. I went in and bought a dragon earlier and was watching it fly about and I was sat there like this O_o. They are lush. The things that they continue to bring out, when you look back to how things were say 9 years ago to now, its all changed so much, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop thinking how great these people are.

I miss some of the staff that left of course, but I am just looking forward now.

If you could be any other position in Sulake, what would it be?
I really enjoy payment related things, but then I do enjoy what I do now. So if I could combine the two so I did more payment that would be ideal.

During your time as Player Support for the UK hotel, what was the funniest ban appeal reasoning that you came across?
“Someone broke into my house, logged onto my Habbo and got me banned.” We were all imagining the burglar sat at this persons computer, with his main priority banning the Habbo rather than stealing the computer!
Mr-Trainor (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=47332)
Since you began working with Habbo, what has been your favourite update (or updates if you can't decide on one.
I guess I like the whole signing in process. I think it makes it much easier to sign in on an ID and have all of your accounts there rather than remembering all the passwords.
tylermunjkt (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=67542)
Is it hard being Head of Fansites? Also, what do you have to do as Head of Fansites?
Like I said up there, I have just taken over the admin stuff really. So just communicating with the fansite reps and helping them with any issues they have. I am really the middle woman between the Site Producers and the fansites :D
