Help!

Hey I'm creating a website and I've got a domain name already but it requires me to have a DNS and stuff but I don't know where to get the host from. Help?

You can either get it up and running straight away on a platform such as Tumblr (http://tumblr.com) or WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com), or if you are looking to host a website of your own you should go for hosting. I'd recommend either SimplexWebs (http://simplexwebs.com) or ThisWebHost (http://thiswebhost.com) (Feel free to use TWITCOMP-FIRSTFREE which will get your first month with Simplex up for free.)

Your host should tell you what to do with your domain to get it working with them, it's essentially changing 2/3 easy peasy lines of text in your domain panel.

Thanks but I'm looking for a free host and I don't want something like WordPress.com. I need something that can host for free or if it is something like freewebs I need to be able to customize the whole thing.

http://30mb.co.uk (Really good depending on what you want, read their ToS)
You'll receive DNS in a confirmation email once it's all set up.

Once received change it from your domain control panel (Should be where you purchased it)

Sites like 30mb have to close because they don't create any revenue, hence why it'd be best to pay a couple of quid for hosting each month :P

Well, could use 000webhost? Nothing special but it can get the job done.
