Thanks to my dad managing to install some pesky ransomware on my laptop from some dodgy keygen he was using, I had to eventually restore the bugger back to factory settings, as even having it back to how it was a few days before, it still wasn't right (programs failing to load, slow + jerky etc).

However, what I did forget about was all the music on my iPhone being synced with the iTunes library I had on the laptop before I restored it. Of course, now that I've installed iTunes again, it refuses to have anything to do with the phone unless I wipe the entire thing, and sync it with this new, empty library (which is brilliant ).

Is there any way at all that I can make it so that iTunes will happily add the music onto my phone? I know it's a feature they have to prevent you from putting songs on all your mates' devices for nowt, but I would really rather not have to replace all 921 songs I have on the thing already.

Plz help (yn)

Try Sharepod. It's free and one of the most popular software for doing this :)

I've had luck with Sharepod in the past.

Also, go to Gumtree and get your dad the cheapest laptop you can find. £50 is all it cost me to get mine well away from my rigs.
