From a first glance, it looks same old Fifa without any real changes. Just 'enhancements' do dribbling and skills as normal - that is my first thoughts on what they have shown.

Thoughts?

Ooh, looks like they are removing the PC version of the game.

Maybe I am being harsh, still early doors so features are still lacking.

I would like to see a better transfer system in manager mode if i am honest.

Ive never played any of the football games, but this looks the same as the previous one. :P I guess there isn't much you can do with a football game though.

The transfer system lacks a lot imo.

I personally think they are missing a trick by not making 'Stadium Packs' and selling them. I would buy the league one/championship stadiums if I could.

Well, the impact system is a feature I have personally wanted for a while, realistic collisions are lovely :)

I tend to play manager mode with my sister, so that wouldn't really bother me.

Looks exactly like every other Fifa.
They need to change it up a bit tbh. :)

I thought this, but they won't change anything while everyone buys it - and since people want to play their mates online, and have the latest squads they will always buy it.

The main thing i'd like to see is other clubs offering to buy my players without me having put them up for sale - this means that the player could be faced with difficult decisions if offered a large amount of money for one of your star players.

Would love to see this, probably won't happen though. Fifa has a tendency of ignoring Manager Mode.

Here's some things I think need to be added to Fifa - some have been in before and have not been in Fifa 11:

On Kick off - Penalty Shoot Out. Straight away, without playing the game. It was on 06 or 07 I think, you could just go Play match > Penalty Shoot Out. It was good for practising Penalties.

Manager Mode:
Player Growth Charts - Was on 06 or 07 I think, basically it showed you the expectation of player growth if they were played regularly over 5/6 seasons.
New computer generated players for when all the current players are older. Every season new young & old players appear in teams (computer generated randomly) and free agents.
Scouting should be brought back. In 11 the scout just searches the free market - which is rubbish. Go back to 05/06/07 where you chose what region to scout, paid an amount of money, and it found a few random generated players of various levels (between 40&69 normally) who you could sign.

Online:
This year's online is really hard & annoying to navigate. I don't like playing ranked matches because I want to get my Pro up - so I have to play unranked matches, but it took me a while to work out how to, and then even when I worked out, there were few unranked matches. You should have a choice at an online startup menu of unranked or ranked and then it separates people by that - Like COD with the different games.

Other things:
Consistency in tackles:injuries. Some tackles are blatently not going to injure a player (ie; knocking them off the ball with a small shove) yet your player gets injured for 40 days. Others come from behind send the player flying, then not even a scratch. They need to be more consistent with that.

To make things more realistic: The odd bad call (ie; a goal in that was on the line, a card which shouldn't have been & vice versa)
Be able to argue with the ref/start a fight (okay not all the time because it would become NHL, but these things happen).
Random streakers/pitch invader. Like a 1/10000 chance or whatever. Not often but again they happen.

The last bit would be a novelty, but I want to play a game of virtual football, not watch a graphic stop the game running across the pitch :P

I still want to see updated transfer mode as this makes up[ a big part of the game for me.

Clubs should become more realistic, with clubs signing players in the market not players joining clubs by asking. Enables people to join clubs without the stupid process of chatting via forum or random games

I agree with pretty much everything.

The main thing I don't like about FIFA 11 is how easily some of the refs give fouls and yellow cards. I always go away after winning the ball with a seemingly fantastic/fair tackle, and the next thing I know it's a free kick and a yellow card.

I'd love to see the odd wrong decision, like not giving off side when it should have been, or giving a goal when it wasn't. It would be cool if the commentators then played a replay and decided themselves if it was correct or not!

As long as there's FUT then I'm happy, I've spent a lot of time building my dream team!

I am over Fifa games on any console. I just dont find them fun unless playing with friends.

I wish they'd stop removing things from the game. Just keep them in, if the player doesn't like it they dont have to use it.

I know that they'd point black deny doing it, but I think they should have a look at the Manager Mode on PES (I forget what they call it). Their detail is fantastic; club staff, youth teams, scouting of players/teams, player loyalty to the club, clubs making offers for your players, international call ups. Fifa should implement some of these features into their game with their own unique touch and style

I also miss the old school FIFA where you'd get emails from local magazines requesting to interview some of your players and other similar circumstances. These things just gave a different edge to the game.

I agree, thing is Fifa had pretty much all of those things (when I put a few of what I want back I forgot those) in Fifa 05 or 07 (can't remember which) they had pretty much everything we've suggested: International call ups (I remember losing half my squad once to an England Vs. Brazil match), scouting of young/computer generated players, club staff upgrades, training schedules, interviews with players & manager, etc.
The only thing I don't think I've ever seen on Fifa is player loyalty (ie; players giving in transfer requests) or other clubs making offers. The rest HAS been in, but been taken out.

I think EA are trying to copy FIFA realistically though - make the game steadily worse, ignore the fans and players and refuse to implement what the game actually needs.

Probably due to the fact that there's a separate game specific for Manager.

What I want is the fifa gameplay, with at least a good transfer mode.
