New X Factor UK Judges

The new judging line up for The X Factor UK has today been confirmed.

Joining Louis Walsh will be Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos (from N-Dubz) and Kelly Rowland.

Slightly disappointed as I do not think this line up will be anywhere near as good as Dannii, Cheryl, Simon & Louis and it just doesn't, to me, feel like The X Factor?

Doesn't feel right for me!

I don't even watch the X factor cos I think its a load of crap. I know how their audition system works :P But yeah, even for me, as someone who doesn't watch the X Factor, it will no longer be the X Factor even though I preferred it when it was Sharon, Louis and Simon.

Yeah I agree with you, and I think it's probably going to be one of the worse X Factors judging wise. Dannii was the reason in why Sharon Osbourne left and seeing as Dannii isn't going to be on it anymore, they should have got her back.

Doesn't feel X Factor to me. Prefered Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis as the judges in my personal opinion.

Well, I am annoyed. Cos he took Cheryl and let them dump her? Now I know many don't like Cheryl and they say she can't sing, but she has actually done pretty well on that show. I was planning to watch the US version instead of the UK one, but now they've dumped Cheryl there too, I won't be watching either.

lol, i doubt simon "let them dump her", especially considering how much time, money and effort he's invested in her on both UK and US x-factor.

He could've saved her! Remember that he is the owner of the 'X Factor' franchise and at the end of the day, he is also one of the Executive Producers of the show, he could've pushed power in order to save her, but hey ho, I don't think UK will be any good now. :(

Tulisa Contostavlos is the worst female judge they could have brought in, disliked dani anyway so doesn't bother me that she's gone, but cheryl and simon :( :(

Well. To be honest, Gary Barlow has no place being there to me. Yes, he may be a music "professional" but he isn't really right for television, which X Factor is part of. Kelly Rowland will be a lovely, fresh change, and I'm happy with her. Tulisa, I'm not completely convinced she's that great. Yes, she is musical, and she will be in a solo career, now N-Dubz are splitting to do solo work, but she doesn't seem perfect for the X Factor, it's not her kind of thing. I would like Simon to come back, and he undoubtedly will do for the finals or something, that's just him. And I'm annoyed how Cheryl got thrown off USA, and then wasn't coming back to the UK either.

To be fair Louis (who is still a judge on it) gave quite a lot of honest criticism. Cheryl was the only really 100% "nice no matter what" judge on the old panel.

Never liked Danni as a judge, she threatened to resign when she didn't get what she wanted.

I think instead of changing the judges they should have changed the actual concept and allowed actual bands to play, allowing real music and real talent.

The big problem with the x factor and in my opinion, why a lot of its winners often failed, is they simply cover song after song and don't really get a chance to try their own stuff, although most probably can't.

If they allowed actual groups to come on it would be in my opinion a lot better. I want to see real acts with real music, not manufactured artists.

Hopefully it'll never appear after this, the X Factor is frustrating to watch as well as what happens at the end, the winners don't really go on to become anything amazing and Christmas No.1s should be reserved for bands/artists who have worked their arses off for the weeks running up to Christmas, no some nobody who will be forgotten weeks after :P

Tbh that line up imo is good. I know most people won't like it but I do. Tulisa will bring a different view on things because of her genre etc. + she's fit so im happy. Gary Barlow is a musical legend hands down. Louis...well you can't argue he's been a judge from the beginning. And Kelly Rowland...I don't like her but I think she'll be a decent judge.
