Ok so here's the story.

Every now and again when im bored i play a little bit of ThinkBingo. Mainly as something to do. I usually use a multiline slot called 'x factor video slots'. Usually, i bet 10p's. Now when you get 3 x Blue Microphones in a row, you win £50.00.

Well yesterday, i was chatting to my brother and i opened up the slots and decided to play. I rolled, and got the 3 x Microphones on my first roll. I was over the moon at winning £50.00 from 10p. I carried on rolling and he said to me 'Sam you do realise you're betting 2.00 each time yeah?' and i was like ah god and changed it back to 10p and carried on playing. Now something hit me this morning. When you bet 10p the reward for 3 x Microphones is 500x however much you bet. So when i bet 10p's i get 50.00.

So if i bet £2.00, that should have been £1000. Yet i got 50.00. So i went to the transaction history and checked my logs. Sure enough it shows:

May 31 2011 7:52PM Instant Wager - X factor Video slot £-2.00 £9.39
May 31 2011 7:52PM Instant Win - X factor Video slot £50.00 £59.39
May 31 2011 7:52PM Instant Wager - X factor Video slot £-2.00 £57.39
May 31 2011 7:52PM Instant Wager - X factor Video slot £-2.00 £55.39
May 31 2011 7:52PM Instant Wager - X factor Video slot £-2.00 £53.39

So surely this is an error in their system right?. I reported it to them and im waiting for a reply, but what do you guys think are the chances of me being reimbursed my £950 which i should have been paid on top of the £50 i received.

This is a lot of money so as you can imagine im livid! I sent a screenshot to them showing the screen which showed the information above too.

+ Rep to helpful responses. Im practically having a heart attack :L

Are you sure you didn't win on a ten p one, rather than a £2 one?

By default when you open the slots its on 2.00. I didnt change it because i forgot. As you can see from the posted log, a 2.00 stake was taken.

Oh yeah, didn't realise the slidy bar :P

Is there a max win or something? Wouldn't surprise me in the TaC :P

There is no max win. My friends mom plays it and bets 20p each time and she won 1,000 twice in one night on this game (she's insanely lucky).

Thanks Greencrayons. Its weird because i didnt even realise i was betting 2.00. I just opened up the game and by default the wager is set to 2.00. I started rolling, won the 50, then carried on betting 2.00 without realising. I only noticed because the 50 went to 40 insanely fast :L

Nope it isnt. As Green posted above its x500. They also have a page which shows you what you win and 3 x Microphones is x500 wager.

EDIT: @ Green - Its not that because i won a 25.00 later on in the evening when i was betting 10p's again. + I've barely won anything i know people who have won well over 1000 in a night from the slots.

I guess it depends on how it gets logged. If there isn't anything that says 500x or whatever then it's just your word against theirs and I highly doubt they'd want to give you the 950 lol

Surely by law they have to have logs of all transactions?

I wouldn't be surprised if there happened to be a server error or whatever and it may of changed it to a 10p one when you changed the other games.

But if the Transaction Logs show i bet £2.00 then they'd HAVE to pay it wouldnt they?

Is the £50.00 win only based on 10p's as a promotional offer, rather than a x500 multiplier? Plus can you claim cash back off them or does it just stay on your account permanently?

You can't use any bonus credit (promotional) on scratchcards. And you can withdraw it yea.

it's defo an error, logs will be kept by law and for these kind of errors, they will be able to track back your game play, you obviously bet 2.00 and the x500 multiplyer was applied. :/ confuzzled.
