Hey,
When I'm searching for rares using habbox.com, when you start typing it automatically starts finding the rare. I think it's good but I only manage to type half of the rare im searching for and it's already gone looking for it. Then it finds no searches because the name isn't complete. Is there any way the length of time could be increased?

You are a slow typer Jordan?!
I can set the delay to someone more lengthy on that if other users are complaining about it being too short as well.

It has always done that on V6. Intact, I do nit believe hitting the enter key to search will even do anything because it calculates when the user stops typing (or just types one letter a minute) automatically.

well i start typing then go back and check that i am searching it correctly. If it's just me that finds it a problem then leave it!

Lets see what everyone says, have at it!
I honestly rather a hit enter or maybe a longer time because sometimes I'm a noob and make a type and it just goes for example "Throbne cannot be found" and I'm like "YEAH IKR GIMMIE A CHANCE LOVE!"

When I search for something, I sometimes don't get to finish the name of the item. However, the item would usually come up on the list anyway.
As for those saying it doesn't auto-search for you, the one on the homepage doesn't but the one on the RV page does :).

Is there any way to let logged in users customize the delay time? Or perhaps at least give a few choices? I can understand how some would find the speed excessively fast, but I can also see that others would prefer this speed.

Perhaps when they hover over the search box I could add a dropdown which lets them customize the time, or change it to only search when they press enter - then if they're logged in it account saves and otherwise cookie saves if they're not.

Yeah that sounds great, would prefer to customize it :)
