Hi, I have decided to come out 'of the closet' and admit that I have been playing Runescape for a few months now. Aiden has been my 'mentor'. During exam times I have found it to be a great stress buster. I still really don't know what I am doing properly so any tips would help.

I actually prefer killing pixels. I sort of use it as a stress buster. :P

You'd think they'd become wiser and realease the lesser demon on the top floor to come and get her.

Aiden refused for me as well dw.
I recommend doing 'priest in peril' because that unlocks about 1/4 of runescape ;)

Good luck with RS. I'd recommend training Slayer btw to help get your combat up. Plus it'll help you get some cash so you can train some of those other skills.

Yes that looks a bit complicated as you seem to need all sorts of skills but I am definitely going to look at that soon.

slayer is just combat, you go to a slayer master which you can use, he/she gives you a task and you have to go kill that monster the number of times he/she tells you to :) If you still don't get it i can come in game and show you the basic :)

I did the hill giants one but then he said to do the Crocodile one and that's hard for me at my level. :(

Just make sure you bring waterskins. I'm assuming you're using Turael so you can't change your task.

rule one - buy membership for £3.50/month or you won't have fun.
f2p (free to play) doesn't have that much to do and it a lot slower to do anything.

oh yeh rule two is NEVER bot - thats rich coming from me but if you start you can never stop so just don't get sucked into it like i did :l

1) you get access to about 3/4 more of runescape, thousands of items and about 12-13 extra skills 100x easier to train skills.
2) it basically plays the game for you, does all the levelling and it can run 24/7 unlike humans.

I would like to get 'prayer' pure.

not sure thats possible since you've got strength, attack and defence etc
also 99 prayer is 100-300m depending if you do the quick or slow method ;)

Quick would take about 24 hours slow about 1 month :P

I did the 'find Gertrude's cat' quest and have finally managed to get the kitten to turn into a cat. What a hassle though. They are very demanding. :P

I finally got my ardougne cloak 1 which I am really pleased about. I enjoy the quest side of it now and the wizards are a bit safer now. :P

I want to get the next cloak but some need 50 firemaking and I think I have 1. :( Any tips on how to speed this up. I found agility so boring too.

there's not really a fast way to speed up fm, just once you get the levels to use better logs change to them. getting to 50 won't take long anyway if you buy the logs.

There is a way - but it requires high-ish cmb so you dont die - Barb Assault (Kyle on the forum is the expert at it)

Penance Horn, Ring of Fire + Flame gloves, allowed me to get 99 fm within a week :P using maples.
