Alright so I've decided to get myself a scooter next year, I'm going to get a 125cc one because it goes up to 60mph and that seems better than the 50cc scooters that only go up to 30mph.
I just want to know is a CBT licence the only licence I'm going to need to ride a 125cc scooter? Everything is extremely confusing as I know absolutely nothing about motoring :(
Would appreciate any help, thanks :)

It depends on your age I think it's 16 you're restricted to a 50cc otherwise your restricted to a 125cc.

EDIT: Yeah, you can ride a 125cc on a CBT if you are 17 or older.

Thanks for your help, I'll be 17 by the time I buy my scooter so I'll be able to get a 125cc one. :)

I was awful on a push bike, ran over three times and crashed (into peoples houses as a paperboy) five times.

I think i'd die on a freaking moped :'(!

If you are going to be 17, why not wait to get a car?

Just my opinion, I just find peds make an atrocious noise, yet go fairly slowly lol

Max speed?

I had one like that when I was younger, I dislike how rough it was and how it kills your legs.

I'm looking for one for the road that is less noisy then the chavvy ones but more nosier than the one you posted.

I've currently got a Peugeot Speedfight 2 100cc -- It can get to 60mph on a flat surface easily and downhil it can get to 80mph, so i would get a 100cc because its not too slow or too fast, its just right. Plus this will be your first scooter, so you'll need something that you can handle :)
