Hey, last year on holiday I met a girl who I became really good friends with, turns out that this year we are both going to Reading festival. We both want to meet up, but I don't want my friends meeting her, I'm afraid they will try something on with her or whatever as they would go for anything with a pulse. Should i just go off one day and meet up with her or introduce them?also some of the people who I'm going with are ***** and I know they will try and embarrass me and possibly ruin our friendship... None of my friends know about her or that she is going btw.

If you don't want to introduce your friends to her, then going off alone is your best and only option. Just hope and wish your friends don't stalk you or bump into you over the course of the day, haha.

You're at a lose/lose.
If you meet her yourself, you may have to explain why you're there yourself as she may assume you're a loner or to be weird to lack friends?
Whereas if you introduce her she may be put off by your company as you've stated.
I would take the friends you trust, go and meet her. that way you appear normal, you can trust them and in general you'll have fun.

Explain to your friends that she is off limits and if they want to try something with her they have to include you too.

at reading theres more than enough girls for everyone.. introduce her to your friends but assert yourself (ie arm round her, sat near her etc etc) and it should be fine. in my camp there were people who i thought were ***** but everyone banded together and it was fine!

At the festival, leave your friends and meet with her yourself. If she asks, or looks puzzled, just explain to her that they're back at the campsite and you've come away to meet her. She probably won't be that interested in meeting them anyway
