Do you believe in the paranormal?

Ghosts, poltergeists, demons, etc..

Personally Yes. My house gets some weird activity.

The other night, we were all in the living room, talking and having a Chinese and the TV turned on xD

I definately do. I think I believe it due to the fact I've been told so many stories by my family that it's just made me believe it to and I do. I'm very intrigued about the whole paranormal life. Same with UFO's, I do believe in all that stuff too and believe that Media cover stories up involving UFO's a lot of the time.

I BELIEVE IN GHOSTS!!! there have been a load of sightings in places around here, fortunately not by me xD but I don't think there are 'bad' ghosts.
I also believe in the afterlife if that counts? I know people say mediums are full of ******** and that's their opinion but my mums friend claims to be psychic and feels the presence of ghosts. I really couldn't care less if people believe me or not but there have been two incidents in the past with her which makes me believe she can sense things

I believe in ghosts yes, several family members and family friends have all experienced the same thing and 50 odd people cannot experience the same thing and describe it all in detail, so yes I do. My mum also experienced something very strange and paranormal when she gave birth to me in hospital, basically it was like in a dream, but it happened for real if that makes any sense. To cut it short, an old woman stood at the end of her bed and started smiling and her bed started to sway and the furniture in the room started to move and then she started strangling my mum, but then it just stopped oh and whilst that was happening, she couldnt physically move or talk. I believe me mum, shes an honest person and has never ever lied to me or anyone else in my family about anything, shes an open and honest person. Funny thing is, other people that gave birth at that hospital, experienced the same thing but it wasn't always an old woman, so yeah.

I do believe in ghosts, yes. In particular, I've heard a lot of stories from my mum and her friends/family about ghosts and I do believe them. UFOs were mentioned above and I do believe of their existence too. I am yet to see/experience anything for myself.

There's no need to be embarrassed! It's what you believe in. I'm sure your mates will have a debate about it anyway and express their views and opinions. :)

I don't really believe in them but if i read stories and **** then it'll scare me and affect my sleepings :(

If I had a reason why I didn't believe in them then it would be because of all these stupid fake tv shows

I've told myself i saw a ghost, and I genuinely believe I did, but thinking back to the day, it was a trick of the eye from a light shining on a door, but the image of the ghost stuck in my mind since.

I also use to think I saw ectoplasms (forgot how its spelt) in my room, but then realised it was just hairs falling from my head catching the light of my pc haha.

So no, I don't believe in ghosts, vampires, werewolves ect, they're just fantasies created by folk lore. But I do believe in aliens, not the ones that zip around in brightly lit spaceships or any kind of deep space ship, just ones that are sat comfortably on a home planet.

Urrm yes and no. There's points in my life I'm sure I might have seem a ghost but most of the time I'm a bit iffy on the subject. However if they do exist, I'm certain they wouldn't be anything like in movies and crap.

Bit off topic but the scariest dream I had is after my nan died and I dreamt she drove her car up to the house and watched, but if you looked at the car lights you'd die. This dream occured several times and this thread reminded me of it cos obviously she of been a ghost in the dream.

I don't really know.. I'v never witnessed anything myself. I'v heard stories off people who I trust wouldn't make it up, example my mum.

My mum's a nurse and the ward she works on at the moment used to be the old childrens ward and she could hear a baby crying from the staff toilets.

Another time her and another nurse were turning a patient and a medicine jar randomly got thrown across the floor.

And yet another time, my mum went for a nap in the linen room on a night shift just after another nurse. My mum came out a bit early because she woke up as if somebody had sat on her. She went back onto the ward and asked if anybody had gone into that room and the other nurse turned around and said "Did you feel somebody sit on you too?".

So because my mum told me, I believe in them as I know she wouldn't lie about it haha.

Back in the day when i was like 7, my brother and parents and I went to visit my cousin at his house. On the way home we drove past this over passage, which is like a bridge but narrow and for walkers lol. Anyway it was dark because it was late and I looked out the window and I saw a bride in a wedding dress holding some flowers. I shouted to everyone in the car that that there is a women in a wedding dress stood by the pillar of the over passage. No one said they could see anything and then she threw her flowers in the air and turned around and walked into the pillar and disappeared. 6 years later (god knows who this was brought up) but my mum said to me that she actually saw the ghost I saw too but didn't want to say she did to me because she didn't want to scare me :o

My mate also said she used to go to her cousins to sleep and would wake up in the middle of the night and her cousin would be sat on the top of the stairs. So my friend was shouting her cousin's name asking her what she was doing. She then looked across the room she was in and her cousin was in the other bed so she was speaking to a ghost. She said it used to sit there all the time lol. If that happened i would run a mile!

Another memory just popped in my head. Before my room was a bedroom, it was a storage room for me and my brothers toys. Anyway we had this toy that when throw, it would make a say a phrase, or a word. We had a load of toys so it was basically piled up in the room with other toys around it. Some nights, in our bedroom, we could hear the toy say phrases like 'owch, that hurts!' from the toy therefore it was been thrown around the room. I havent experienced anything scary while it's been my bedroom which is a good thing lol!

I'm definitely intrigued in the paranormal but I'm not completely sure if I believe in it or not because whenever something eerie happens to me, it can usually be logically explained or blamed on coincidence and as much as I want to believe what I see on TV, I really doubt what they show is real and authentic.

i've seen a real ghost many times but it looks exactly like a normal person but with no face which is strange, it has the figure, and even the clothes on but no face

also was reading about a lady who has a poltergeist in her house and apparently it sings, theres a recording and everything of it singing but no one there, it happens at like 3 am in the morning

I've been told so many ghost stories by people that I started to believe in ghosts. I always try to convince myself ghosts aren't real but it's not working :( I believe some mediums can feel the presence of ghosts but some just can't. In my old house I could always hear the stairs creaking and it was freaky but I convinced myself it was just the house. I've never seen a ghost before but if I did I would probably die.

Exactly what I feel too. My auntie and a few close family friends are mediums and they give people messages from their loved ones that have passed. 100% believe tbh

exactly what has happened to me, my mums friend told me something that she would only know if she was psychic, I've never written it down or told anyone - it's always been in my head but yeah..... either psychic or there is something there. or she's a good guesser and I'm holding on to false hope :P

I don't know if I've seen a ghost before. I think I saw one a few weeks ago.. approximately 2 weeks ago. I saw one shadow in this abandoned nice house. It freaked me out. I thought it was other things. Idk
