Private/Visitor Message Lag

Is it just me or are they both lagging like hell? I receive one and read it then go to the home by clicking on the banner and it pops up saying that I've got it again and I need to visit it about three times to get rid of it..

This happened for me a few days ago, it's fine at the moment though.

I'm not smart but isn't it to do with cache or something and If it is I think something is being done :O

I believe it is linked to the cache, normally a Ctrl and F5 sorts it out when you get the PM/VM notification. I'll see if anything can be done about it as it can be some annoyance at times.

I thought it was just me, but CTRL + F5ing seems to make the notification disappear... for me anyway.
