Anyone ever won on one? I remember a few weeks ago I had 3 goes on one and got 1 under a major prize each time.

Played them once, got a keyring. LOL. They're rigged, as with any other machine, they only put out once a certain amount of money or plays has passed.
I love the machines where you put pennies/2ps or whatever in, find a fairly full one, put x3 coins in at the same time and you're pretty much guaranteed a win :P

They used to have one in a restaurant I go to! I played every single time with £3 in total spent. I did win everytime but only something like a blow up hammer or light up thing!

I remember reading that it needs 800 goes for you to win, so this could vary as someone could have played 799 times then next person could just play once and win!
I've never won a big prize.

Generally it changes from machine to machine depending on where it is etc.

I like when you come back the next day and they've removed one of the big prizes so you think OH **** SOMEONE WON THE XBOX or whatever

I hate those machines, it's obvious they're there purely to rip people off. :@

They're definitely rigged, they jump even if you hit it exactly on but just like many other machines after a while it is possible to win.
My best friend won a Nintendo Wii and then sold it for like £160 even though it was the year when Nintendo Wii's were selling for like £300.

Erm what? I think Nintendo Wii was only £180 to begin with... I know because I pre-ordered mine.
Stephen, they actually are IMPOSSIBLE you know :'(

Lol, most of them are rigged, in Ingoldmells (near Skegness) I saw this cuddly cat on a grabber near edge and got it using a £1 then I noticed it had a voucher for a fiver on.
Won £40 on party time and and another £20 on another party time like machine that night, lucky cat? Haha!
Most I've won on a stacker machine is this little rubber thing uno those you turn inside out andthey pop up? Still have it!

I always get under major prize too.

Yeah but there's no guarantee it would even do it after 100 pounds, and even if it did on the one go it decides to let you do it, you have to get it spot on that go out of 100.

Last year when I was in Spain they had one and it kept giving me my money back through the machine until I finally won something lol. -.-"

I love it when people leave money in so you get a free go.
Also, I remember those win every time things, it was £1 a go, my Dad has a go and grabs two things at once. I go have a go, get three things at once. It's good to beat him!

Me and the stacker are enemies. I used to play them every weekend like 5 times. I must of spent like £200 on them lol. I get to the last row all the time and it stops at the next one. Stopped playing them because its not skill based to be honest. The prizes have changed to crap ones now because the arcade has changed by instead of winning money, you win tickets now that you can exchange for prizes but you need like 100 000 tickets for a good prize and that is shocking.

They're so irritating, I was on block away from winning a PS3 on one and the block stopped in the space next to the stack, could've smashed the thing

Aware...
Around Christmas time of the year they were released everyone was in a rush to get them and it was just impossible and on eBay they were selling around £300.

I've only wasted a quid on one at Cineworld once, the problem is some of the machine owners think iPod Shuffles and Photo Keychains make good major prizes :S
The best thing ever to happen on an actual crane type thing was in Ibiza. I was going for a Crash Bandicoot (which naturally I missed) but up came a Tweety bird plush that was being grabbed by the tiniest little loop thing around its head, designed to hang it up or something.
It was so awesome and I wanted to cry with joy. Nobody saw the momentous occasion though :|

This is true, but 300 is an exaggeration :P
We managed to sell one for £240, because as you said wiis were desirable and they were completely sold out everywhere.
On topic, I've never won anything of value from these machines :(
Never [layed on them I always thought it was impossible. Where I live I only go on 2p machines or grabbers but the grabbers ar elike rigged too. Except when I went on holiday to Skegness I won a bagpuss cat thing and at Butlins in Skegness won a big winnie the pooh and tigger and piglet and loads of mini zippy's in the mini grabbers :D

Omg I love Ingoldmells grabbers in BJ's yes the name sounds odd.
Anyhow, I played to win a Sid from Ice Age, and i grabbed it by its bum or head anyway, I get it to end it's Head hit the plastic plate thing and knocked it into next machine. My mum puts some money in that and wins it! :(
I usually go for minor prizes on stackers.
