If you've volunteered for anything in the past, such as RAF, maybe before that you was in the air cadets, and from my understanding of that wasnt there a requirement called 'Cadet in the Community' in order to get your next star grade?
I'm still involved, but i've never heard of that myself: I'm just about 'top of the ladder' now, so, should I create a section for the Air Cadets, listing all my achievements, or add them into the achievements section?

Get rid of the opinion of yourself and use the cover letter to tell the potential employer why you'd be good for the job. Are you doing A Levels? Generally you'll pick up a shed load of experience in Sixth form, I picked up School councilor, a part time IT Tech job, volunteer work with our school (during the hols) etc.
Make a massive deal of Air Cadets and any (volunteer/paid) work.
God this sounds like my application for University all over again.
Right; deleted. And I'm going to Sixth Form in September
and I will do. (Y) Tar
