LimeRadio will be opening July 1st, and before that date we will be giving many people the chance to test out the website before it gets released.
For now though, why not enjoy what we have to offer music-wise and tune in? We're accepting requests;)
We cater for all musical tastes, with DJ's playing Pop, Dance, Trance, Reggae, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Hardstyle, Old-Skool and finally, House.
We even have DJ's who come on air and do a live-mixing session!
We're also accepting DJ applications - just pop us an email lime.jobs [at] limeradio.net or PM me.

Yeah I'll get that sorted for you.
I'll be interested to see what happens when you release the full site, it certainly sounds promising :)

... looks awful for people with small monitors too (edit: referring to IE)
also you probably want to be coding your site for IE too, since the majority of people still use it.

Personally I think backgrounds of images are terrible as they are hard to fit for all monitors, I'd say just make a background that you can set to repeat.

I've just had the same query on another forum (CHF).
It was possible you were viewing a cached version of our website from one of our servers. I've forced an update of our caches, it should be slightly faster now but due to the quality and resolution of the image the smallest we could get it to is 291.39 kB. I'll look into perhaps resizing it acording to the user's screen resolution so it will also fit your screen nicely :-)
Thanks,
John.
I like it, i'll probs listen when theres some trance on there. but the background is a NONONONO :P

According to W3, IE hasn't been the majority since August 2008. It's at about 24% now, and falling every month. Still worth making sure a website works in it, but not a majority :)

Firstly that statistic would be taken majorly through people visiting the W3 website which are developers more than the average internet user.
From the same page:
You cannot - as a web developer - rely only on statistics. Statistics can often be misleading.
Global averages may not always be relevant to your web site. Different sites attract different audiences. Some web sites attract professional developers using professional hardware, while other sites attract hobbyists using old low spec computers.
Also be aware that many statistics may have an incomplete or faulty browser detection. It is quite common by many web-stats report programs, not to detect the newest browsers.
(The statistics above are extracted from W3Schools' log-files, but we are also monitoring other sources around the Internet to assure the quality of these figures).
This chart here is the median from the usage stats of a range of statistic sites, thus is much more reliable than W3 on its own. (W3's stat makes up part of the median in this chart).

It still shows that Internet Explorer as an indivudial browser is used by the majority. Your point is bollocks.

Majority = more than 50%
The picture you linked has IE at 43.2%
I win.
43.2% against Chrome, Safari, Opera and mobile browser together. I'd count that as majority.

I did say that in my first post.
I believe majority is defined by the greater number. Not just more than half. - http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&q=majority&tbs=dfn:1&tbo=u&sa=X&ei=YP30TfOiO9Gw8QOryc2-Bw&ved=0CCQQkQ4&fp=1&biw=1170&bih=702&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&cad=b

So like I said, you don't know the definition of majority. In the image that Hashterix posted, IE is the most popular, the mode, but not the majority.

And I never claimed to have said that. I said it was worth coding for. That's the bit I was referring to when I said 'I did say that in my first post'.
Oleh is not right. Sort of. Words are defined by their usage, if some people use it that way then they're going against the most popular and accepted usage of the word, but that's how words evolve, so I won't complain about that. Check the 2nd definition in that link btw.
Also, check this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majority
'A majority is a subset of a group consisting of more than half of its members'. My link has a lovely bit saying how a majority is not the same as a plurality.

All I did was post saying your source wasn't reliable and show some more realistic statistics. Thats nothing to do with saying he should code for it, if anything you were agreeing with me in your first post since I said that in the first place, but upon my reply showing your statistics were incorrect you decide to make an argument out of it. You do not "win" something that isn't a competition. Your point isn't valid because the point you're claiming is valid isn't the point that was challenged in the first place, you only made people challenge it by repeating your "point still stands".

I'm perfectly aware of what was posted, thank you. After your lovely image, I pointed out that my point still stands as a way of saying "oh yay, multiple sources are involved now, and my point still stands, I was indeed right."
Then for some reason you came back saying my point was bollocks and that it wasn't used by a majority, creating an argument (in the debating sense, not in the confrontational, angry sense), you were wrong.
I then pointed out the definition of majority, showing that my point was not bollocks, it was completely correct as backed up by evidence provided by yourself, and I won the argument.
All of my points are valid, thanks. It's what I do, I'm Princess ValidPointMaker.
Just to settle things:
We both agree that IE is not used by the majority, although it is the most popular browser, yes?
We both agree that websites should still cater to IE, yes?
We both agree that my tongue hurts because I burnt it last night, yes? No? Well it does because I did.

IE is the majority even though the browser sucks and many only use it because it comes with Windows and alot of people don't even know about any other browser... Chrome beats them all though

It looks really promising if I had to compare it to some others I've seen posted (that's the likes of Wanted FM if you're interested) but I'd definitely swap out the sort of cheesy, web 2.0 oh god i'm a gradient feel for something clean and simple.
This (http://www.radioflo.it/) is the loveliest kind of web radio I've ever seen because it's just simple and clear. Good luck with overcoming the... uh, browser war.

On which basis are you saying that?

It's proven faster, easier to use, more compatible. Chrome unifies simplicity with complexity with the built in task manager and the exstenstions feature which removes the need of toolbars and is run as different tasks instead of running it all in the one browser tasks which slows down browsing. Chrome is double the speed of firefox and triple the speed of IE. Chrome's default doctype is one of the most compatible a browser can have. And also great features like Google Instant search right from the toolbar and although there are not as many add-ons as firefox the chrome exstention store is growing more and more as the browser gets more popular. also they have some of teh best built in developer tools I have ever seen.

You shouldn't advertise your site if it isn't finished, also that bg has to go and making a web player would probably be better than forcing people to use software.

Not gonna lie, Chrome uses the most memory on my PC (it open a process per tab :|) and i've had the least compatability, and numerous problems with loading multiple pages at the same time (clicking 3 links to open in new tab at same time often froze). Chrome, is not the dog's bollocks.
