Tupac was gr8 i only started listening to his tracks 4 years after his death, but i think the gr8est contributer to rap has been Dr.DRE

DR.DRE brought us NWA (members included himself, and people like Ice Cube & Easy E), he also then set up death row records with suge knights which brought us the talents of Tupac and Snoop Dogg (with the doggy pound). and if that wasnt enough hes working with the most succesful rapper of all time, Eminem, signed up g unit , busta ryhmes, the game and eve tc. and has brought us some world class tunes.
