FOX, the channel that brought such shows as Family Guy, Cleveland Show, American Dad and The Simpsons have just announced news of a Family Guy MMO game that will be playable on your browser in Fall 2011. Not much is revealed about the game apart from that the currency inside the game will be Clams which are earned by doing things and accomplishing tasks that you might be challenged to complete. You can also get 60 just for signing up to the closed beta.

To sign up for the closed beta just visit www.FamilyGuyOnline.com, Fill in the short form and complete the Poll which has 2 questions.
1) What character would you most like to play as in any Family Guy game?
2) What character would you leasr like to play as in any Family Guy game? (Trick Question, all answers lead to Meg)

Its completly free and played on your browser. the only paid thing is a special currency other than Clams

Because it's an online game piggy backing on the fame of a TV show (by the way TV shows GENERALLY dont make very good games. Obviously there are some like simpsons hit and run). They're milking the franchise for all its worth.

Interesting, I used Unity in the games programming course I was doing at uni. Has the potential to be a really good game then I guess.
