Jw, is this something that Dave has just got?I got a message come up on my phone (Moto Milestone) saying "this forum is supported by forum runner, download here" - or something like that. It is £1.20 something I think in the android market. Just wondering if this is official, or something dodgy, since I haven't seen anything about it? Is it the answer to tapatalk? :p

It's worth every penny of that $1.50, I've been using it on my ipad here for the past five minutes or so and it's great.

The mobile skin seems to work pretty well for me, surprisingly... as this time last year I was having to load the full skin every page... :P

Yes. Forum Runner has a complete JSON backend which makes it load a lot faster.

You won't load a site skin - I assume there will be no skin option, as the app is the skin?

I didn't write the Forum Runner app but it seems to be pretty buffed up in terms of features, the paid version even having moderator tools built into it.

Don't worry about cross compatibility. Everything else will be just as fast as it is now, and if you don't want to use Forum Runner you certainly don't have to. It is a nice feature to have though for those who prefer it over the mobile skin.

I'm fine using the site skin on my iPad at the moment, so I won't be purchasing this app just yet :P.

I think really, instead of explaining them it's best off to just try the app out (you can always get a refund if you purchase it on Android), you'll see why we've been moaning to get it instead of the mobile skin.

Although the Tapatalk App is a lot nicer than Forum Runner. LOL

Just downloaded the demo and its pretty good... I see what you mean about speed now. Shame you can't reply to threads on demo or it would have suited me fine init.

Habbox was at the top of the "New Arrivals" list too. I also got a pop up telling me that "there is an app for this site!" when I've come to reply via mobile skin now. :P

Doesn't look like it cos profile doesn't work.

This free app is quite good for browsing tbh. If you want to reply just click menu > open in browser for instant redirect to post.. :P

There's a free version of Forum Runner yes although I'd recommend just paying for TapaTalk instead, if you search for Forum Runner or TapaTalk on your phone's App Store you will find it, or you can read up on getting either one here (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=706488&p=7160427#post7160427) :)
