I was wondering, under cool rooms theres a retro rooms section, isn't that technically breaking the habbo way, i'm pretty sure fansites aren't allowed to do this are they? I mean, sulake lose proffit because people go on habbo retros, I doubt sulake want people posting there retro rooms on an official fansite? I was just wondering,

at first, when it said retro rooms I thought it ment like original old rooms, but then I saw loads of retro rooms with custom furni pictures, which is against the sulake rules lol

no... since they don't name the retro website/links so in no way are we physically breaking the habbo way or telling people how to use or go on retros. we also are not encouraging the use of retros and tbh face it even if we deleted that thread it doesn't stop retro users

but i'd still class that as breaking the fansite way letting other users post there things in fake retros habbos.

it's only posting a room... retros let you express your creativity most people probably wouldn't be able to afford

If they are only posting images of a room then it's not really a problem. They aren't advertising the retros and they are also not telling people to go on them either.

Yeah the thread has been there since 2007 but we have been requested to take down the thread and also make sure such threads are not allowed to be posted on the forum. Even though it wasn't advertising the retros, it made it aware to the users that there is retros and they could go on them.

We have to follow such requests and unfortunately the thread had to be removed.

Threads are never deleted, I am sure it's just hidden for members. I see no problem though with just renaming the thread really.

It is just removed from public view, it won't be deleted but neither will it become visible again. :]

I cannot say I agree with Sulake's attempt to over control circumstances in which corporations in other situations wouldn't have their hands in. However they've requested it, and we have abided by their request. Much like how we think it's incredibly silly to ask us not to sell VIP, we still unfortunately have to abide by their conditions as to avoid consequences they could enforce if they chose to.

It doesn't, but Sulake do love to make rules up on the spot and cause mischief. It's what they do ;) Hopefully the whole Sulake Empire will crash and burn soon, they're irritating as an organisation.

If a member chose to do this, didn't post room owner information and the screenshot looked otherwise like the normal Habbo client I suppose we would not have any evidence to support removing the thread on suspicion that it was a retro and the thread would be allowed to exist, you are correct.
