iPod Help

Sooo manly i have had my ipod touch for about a year now and it has broken its ear phone jack im guessing .. Only sound comes out of the right ear phone. Any ideas or how i can fix this?? +rep if you can help :)

I'd assume it's the earphones/headphones rather than the iPod touch, have you tried using different ones to see if they work? If not, I think you should :D!

yes i have done that. I bought a whole new pair

Seemed a common problem on the older ones in 2007 according to google, try resetting it completely (Factory restore) obviously back it up first though on your pc (:

If that doesn't work and you're still in the warranty...

Take it down to an apple shop if you have one near you (might need to make an appointment - http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/) and go to the 'genius bar' and if it's in warranty they'll either give you a brand new one there and then or send it off to get fixed.

If not try http://www.apple.com/uk/support/ipodtouch/service/ and send it off there
