Hey,
First of all I know this is in the Forum & Moderation section however I would prefer it if MattG, Scott or maybe David would answer this question as it isn't really a question about the moderation but the forum aspects.
Was just wondering why we're not allowed to reply really. In fact, I think there's no logic at all about it unless I'm missing something as, like the Habbox V6 Tracker where you could reply, people can confirm that they have this bug or error too or even explain why something isn't a bug therefore not wasting David's time looking through the threads in as much detail. Furthermore, I have noticed members of the (Assistant) Department Managers usergroup have been allowed to reply but I don't think they can confirm anything more or less that we can in most cases, with the exception of Calvin, Scott, Scott again and Jess.
I see no reason why we can't be allowed to post as for example with that rep thread, I wanted to reply saying that I too had this problem (i.e. to give another perspective as the other two were staff whereas I'm just a non-staff VIP)- maybe that's clutching at straws but in general that's sort of my reasoning why we should be allowed to reply. If there is a reason why, please let me know as I think it's silly!
Aside from that, I have resigned from Habbox around 2 and a half months ago and yet my permissions have still not been removed on the Habbox.com site, despite writing it in my resignation PM (I think), a couple of IM messages and even a thread dated the 4th June here (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=704246), and I'm sure I saw someone in GM read that thread unless I'm imagining things. How come they're taking so long?
Not a moan, it's just that if I were to edit loads of news articles, change Habbox Today to something stupid just 'cos I resigned, or even if I were fired and you forgot to do it, it may cause problems because potentially that is the situation. Maybe you would be able to use another back-up beforehand but if I started editing things promoting Club Habbo for example (and of course I wouldn't because it's just childish and immature) it wouldn't look too good for our visitors! :P
kk that did sound a bit moan-like however i assure you it wasn't like that, otherwise i just wouldn't confess that my perms have not been removed when they should, but i am! :P
Thread moved by Infectious (Forum Super Moderator): From "Forum & Moderation", as it is probably better suited here!
