I saw something about it on Engadget a few days ago but that said it wasn't out of BETA but is it out already? Just got an update alert for it..

Anyone tried it?

Edit; just updated, nothing new. New privacy option is quite alright though.

I can't see I've noticed any external differences to be honest, it is a bit quicker but I can't see many new features or visual changes.

Well, I think it is six - they are doing routinely ones now :L

I used to use Firefox but I've been using Chrome for a few months and it's much better imo :D!

I haven't tried it but it seems like it should be just a 4. something, like they've made another version just to make people think there working extra harder than they actually are.

I used to use Firefox but I'm now using chrome. I do miss some of the add-ons however.

Needless to say, Chrome has done it's job far better.

Almost entirely attributable for the decline of IE.

Firefox 4 is worse than Hitler. Hell, I might even stretch as far as to say that it is worse than IE6. Chrome is infinitely better than FF4, although I liked 3.5.

Don't use Firefox very often (although, still have it installed...), and I didn't notice any changes when I updated. Although, with a faster release cycle I guess there won't be dramatic changes all the time.

Double post. - reported.

IE6 was fantastic when it was released, don't knock it just because it doesn't live up to today's standard... even more so considering it's now on version 9.

I didn't 'knock' IE6. I said that firefox 4 is worse than IE6. That doesn't mean that IE6, a very outdated piece of software, was bad when it was released.
