You pay €65 per month for that?! Jesus, even if it was available where I live I wouldn't pay that.

Wireless-G is limited to 52Mbp/s, Wireless-N is limited to 300Mbp/s. It depends entirely on your hardware.

I've not looked into cable, We only have ADSL available here.

Apparently Virgin Media will give us 100Mbps for £35 a month in the UK, so it's about half the price than you pay!!

damn thats tasty. Not rich enough for it here haha.

Virgin do 100MB/s for like 40 euro a month, plus the 15 euro landline.

For us it works out, we get tv + broadband + phone for about 100 a month, when we were originally paying 150+ a month

CAT6 ethernet cable.

You shouldn't need one, Cat5e ethernet cable is unofficially capable of 1Gb/s.

Cat5e is standard ethernet cable, I'm pretty sure it's what you'll have already.

CAT6 Cables are capable of higher speeds, but really what's wrong with up to 1GB/s.

If you cant get the speeds using a CAT5E cable, I doubt you will get the speeds on a CAT6 cable.
