Keep in mind i dont have much of any idea about buying, so... no idea and i got recommended this by a couple o' guys :P. Is the 2500k more expensive?

Yes, but you can overclockkk. I would get a better CPU cooler if you do though.

Only about £10 more.

Also get an ASUS, MSI or Gigabyte motherboard.

These processors overclock really well, I got my 2500k from 3.3GHz up to 4.5GHz... plays games beautifully.
