Hey guys,
Me and a mate of mine are moving out soon and we aren't fully sure of what we will need to bring! What else do we need to add to the list? (Btw we are both old enough!)

2 x Bed (one each)
1 x fridge/freezer combo
1 x dishwasher (already have)
1 x washing machine (not needed too much, can use parents or go to laundromat)
Kitchen utensils (cutlery, saucepans, pots etc)
Towels, bed linen, kitchen cloths etc
Microwave
Beer <----- very important ;)
Sofa(s) <-- depends how big it is
Dining table
kitchen table and seats
Desks for computer/laptop

anything else we need really? I mean big things not small things like food (duh!)

It'll most likely have them, yes. We will buy a vacuum cleaner i dare say!

How about a toaster?
Yep good idea ;) Thanks mate

Oh yeah TV i forgot, I have my one so that's set. And by cooker you mean a stove? Every house has one of them already :p

My brothers and possibly our step-sister are moving in together next year for university. My mom bought a house for us close to the school but we're in the same position as you.

so far my brothers bought an awesome sectional sofa from one of his friends who graduated and moved away.. other than that we need everything

Yep good one!
Toaster is a nice addition, bin as well, so is a bloody kettle! Cleaning.. ugh! I'm hoping to find a cleanish unit so I won't have to clean too much ;)

That should be easy, ISP would be about 25quid a month or so.. and toiletries is easy, steal them ;p no i'm kidding. ta

I was thinking about moving out but it just costs too much when you add in electric, gas, water and council tax.

My list was: Bedrooms (3) - Beds, Crappy TVs, Bedside table, Bedside Light, Cupboard | Living Room Large TV, Sofas, Xbox 360, Sky Box, Desk/Table thing for the TV | Kitchen - Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Toaster, Plates, Cups, Etc... Toiletries

The kitchen needs loads of stuff most of which you'll need to buy, the rest you'll probably already own apart from the sofas.

If your renting a house with a garden you would need access to a lawn mower as you need to keep the garden tidy as that's normally part of the agreement when you rent a place. We worked out we could live decently with 3 people in the house but none of us could afford a car so we wouldn't be able to get to and from work, no work no money.

Depends who you go with, Virgin's 10Mb service is £21 a month.
