Sony have hit nintendoU back with the new Playstation Vita...

The gameplay looks pretty cool... it looks like a normal PSP though.

Its pretty much the same system except more powerful, touch screens and dual analogs. In a way, the change from PSP>Vita makes as much difference (but not in the same way) as DS>3DS. This looks much better than the PSP and I will most likely get one. Also the transfarring is nice too :D

Played with it yesterday. It's ok, but not worth £230 of my money. I kept accidentally hitting the right analogue stick instead of the X button, they're too close and the analogue stick feels more natural as a button haha.

US release price = $250. Now $165

Not as drastic in the US as in the UK retailers picked the price, giving us the bad end of the deal as normal! However, a price drop is fairly standard in this sort of product (although not as drastic as £100!

I know what you mean, I had too many times where I would hit the analog instead, it'll take getting used too but I really felt it stands strong, the touch stuff was really good on the game I played it felt natural and I had no problems getting used to it, I'll certainly be buying one, but not for a while, not really any launch titles that appeal to me yet.

Sony: Hey, let's release a handheld that is everything the PSP was supposed to be. We'll even release it at the same price as the 3DS....

Nintendo: Dear god, look at this thing!! Drop prices immediately, it's obvious our 3DS isn't selling!!!! I hope a 33% drop is enough!!! Look; we have this really awesome game released in 1998. Buy this system so you can play it again! We added minor improvements! C'mon, we're Nintendo... Our handhelds rule!!! Go buy one!!! Please ignore the n64's on Craigslist for $20. It is much better to play the game for $220 in 3D.
