Not sure what's actually causing the problem - although going by something I saw posted earlier it might be a change to his usertitle or something - but any time Richie posts it breaks the thread for me. All I see is this:

And anyone elses posts seem to be fine. If there are posts before his they display perfectly, but then the screen stops when it gets to him. Kill him in the face or some such appropriate action

edit: oh and his profile comes up like this:

Two questions:

1. Which browser are you on?
2. does it only go crazy like this after you've posted a reply, or as soon as you click on a thread?

Thanks for reporting this Tom.

I'm assuming it's because of his user title :P.
However, seems to work fine for me on Chrome/iOS Safari.

Works fine for me on Chrome, Firefox & IE, on the same theme you're using.

Inseriousity.

I'm not sure why two smart gentlemen such as yourselves are using IE but I'll have a gander, worst case scenario is Richard loses his usertitle (or non-usertitle).

Edit: Is it working for you folks now?

I am of the opinion that Habbox should not officially support IE as a browser... keeps the idiots out ;)

IE8 is a horrible browser by today's standards however given that the majority of people use it I always try to accommodate for it when I do code something.

Can't you just kill him in the face anyway? :(

Strange how a usertitle can cause so many problems :S When was the usertitle created?

Well David change someone so the user bar would move up when the user title is left blank 'cause I didn't want my user title to look stupid likes yours :P and Tom you can't I'm immortal.

Internet Explorer wont let you remove a node with Javascript until that node's closing tag has run. Since I was using inline Javascript to remove the span containing his usertitle it tried to remove the span prior to the tag closing so it returned an error and refused to finish rendering a page. The bottom line here is, don't use Internet Explorer. Even though it was easy to set a delay on the inline Javascript to run after the tag had been closed, every other browser was able to determine what was going on and function perfectly.

A bit OTT don't you think? Roll out your better browser, please.

-shrugs- I'm not trying to pick on anyone who uses Internet Explorer. Most web developers and a lot of more computer addicted users would agree with me that Internet Explorer is horrible though. For instance, it doesn't render pages as fast as other browsers (ie8) it doesn't support border radius, shadows, requires custom stylesheets just to import external fonts due to only supporting eot, is very strict about JSON headers, and cannot handle simple error handling such as in the case with Richard and his user title where as every single other major browser can do. I'm not saying you should not use IE because I personally don't like it, I'm saying you shouldn't because factually it lacks a lot of features other browsers have, and your browsing experience will be a lot more fluid, fast and probably more secure if you used Chrome.

Edit: Or I suggest upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 which is a vast improvement from IE8 which you can do here (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie/home).
