Felt like doing a portfolio website for designs in my spare time at the moment.
Click here (http://www.mathewhutchison.com) to view it.
At the moment, it's kind of blank.
I am currently offering to do designing and coding for anyone depending if I can achieve the required outcome or not, for free.
Do feel free to PM me via the forums as I will look at it every so often, but it would be much appreciated it you emailed via. contact form.
Whatever is easier and thanks for looking :)

Cheeky trick to get people to view an ad. And as for your coding, you've totally ignored the fact IE exists and that it is still the most used browser.

I can confirm that there are no such links on this website (having just checked).
There is an extremely horrible advertisement though!
Cheers David, and yeh I clicked it now and its a horrible Advert.
Honestly - you shouldn't really have the advertisement on your site. It'll put SO many people off. :)
If I wanted someone to dseign my site, and ended up on your page, I'd quickly be running back to Google..

This should easily go under the 'Affiliate linking' rule on the forum, seeing as there's nothing you can do about the massive full page ad that shows up.
As for your personal website, it's stretching it to even have adverts on there in the first place, never mind an adf.ly page. The design is a Times New Roman abomination for me and just seems very gimmicky with all of the shadows. If someone sent me here at the moment I'd be sent running, as I'm sure has already been mentioned...

The ad.fly redirect is extremely offputting, as is the template.

Can't edit the post.
I wasn't planning on tricking people actually, thought people wouldn't mind.. Also, if you deem getting $0.001500 cents earning money then wow.
Anyways, criticism is much appreciated.
Need to fix it all up as it was something temporary and I had to do something quick, also I don't like cross browser coding but since I 'should' I may as well code for every browser possible. Gave up doing it ages ago.
If someone could edit it, thanks for doing so.
Anyways, won't bother adding any more ad links.. Didn't realise a lot would complain, lol.

Glad you've taken on board the design issues, if you started with some cleaner sans-serif fonts and went from there it'll really keep improving.

Nobody is interested in how much or little you may be receiving, in the end it's a big horrible forced ad. Nobody expects that sort of thing on a personal website and it's not a good practice to get into.
Good luck striving with it :)

It was a waste of time anyways, wanted to see what would happen.
Anyways, going to design something better.. That's all I could produce on a 13" laptop..
Not the best excuse, anyways I need to look at other designs and work at something like that.
