So my girlfriend shay is coming from Canada to philadelphia. We first met in january 2011, then lost contact until may 31st, we started going out on june 29th, officialy. We both love each other, none of that ** love either. We are in a serious relation ship. I am 16. She is 20.
{Did I cover enough} :s

She's is coming down To philadelphia, PA from Toronto Canada.
We were talkign last night, Something with money, idont remember exactly what was said, But she said she can pay for her own ticket, when we go somewhere and such.
Should i let her pay for her own ticket, Cause Like i am planning this and saying, hey why dont we go to the zoo/art museum... (so far planned. <_<) I know if we go out to dinner, i would pay no matter what, but should i let her pay for the ticket, if she wants to, or do i insist on paying for it. :S Eh,.

After that we are going to my mothers 3 hours south in Maryland, It would be right to pay for gas right? Of couursee... right?!?! D: What if she insists!? :/
Then if she really does pay, should i stash gas money in a spot so she sees it later when she's back home? :/

I'm trying to do the right thing... Help :S

Firstly the zoo? If I was a lion and you visited me in the zoo with your 20 year old girlfriend I'd make it my main priority to hop over whatever is holding me captive and eat you. Fair enough if you're going to the zoo with your wife and kids but not your girlfriend that you met 3 days ago, it seems a little childish. Just be normal and go the cinema or something not a fecking petting zoo. You could always ask her to come around and play or something but maybe that's just my thang.

Secondly why are you making a thread about who should pay for it? it reminds of couples who go "No you hang up" "No you hang up" I feel like just hanging up the ******* phone for them, that doesn't mean I'm paying for your trip, who do you think I am some charitable habboxforum user, I don't think so sunshine.

To sum things up, you should pay but I suppose that is a little contradicting considering most toy boys are the ones earning the cash, hmm.

Hallo this guy is a fool, do not listen to him ty.

The zoo is awesome, everyone loves the zoo. Do not hate on the zoo.

As for paying for it, this is how every conversation should go;
Her: "blahblah money blahblah"
You: "oh i'll pay for ya!"
Her: "Nono, it's fine i'll pay for it"
You:"Nooo i'll do it!"
her: "No really its fine."
You:" Okay then, if you say so."

Dont make it something, dont make it awkward. Obviously dont offer to pay for EVERYTHING, but yeah dont push it too much. If you're driving then im assuming you'd be the one to pay gas however.

This is somewhat true, what do I know I'm just a internet geek that plays habbo from time to time.

Why doesn't she like it? I personally love my home :P. I'm so witty.

In fairness though I can't imagine a teenage couple going to the zoo, looking at animals and pointing out how amazing they're lol.

Inseriousity.

I'd either pay half or let her pay for her flights/petrol etc and with that money saved, take her out to a special surprise date. :)

You are welcome good sir, however she doesn't sound like the brightest girl around. Have fun anywho.

man you can take me to the zoo anyday. Havent been in years.

Even though she says she'll pay for her tickets, just ask her if she wants you to pay if you really want. You dont have to pay for everything because the minute she starts ordering lobster and **** in the restaurant is when you've gone too far

It's a serious "relation ship"? Are you two going on a cruise? I don't understand!

So you've been officially dating for 2 days and can tell she's a keeper? Don't give me that "we met in January" crap because you yourself said you then lost contact for almost 6 months and from what others have posted you haven't seen her face to face. Why don't you just find someone who lives near you? You're only 16 after all, what's the point in a LDR at your age?

I can tell she is a keeper because we have known each other since january, and got to know her even more/better inn the past month. Didn't you read? And you don't know how good we know each other. What is a LDR? Sorry if i don't know.

Like i said i am trying to do the right thing, going out with a girl around me, whom these girls **** everyday or every other day. Smoking weed, drinking, ******* guys ***** everyday.

I am not like that, I just got out of the world of doing the same.

So hope that answered your question....

"Why don't you just find someone who lives near you?"

ID TAKE MY GIRLFRIEND TO THE ZOO BUT SHE DOESNT LIKE THEM

DUMP HER I'LL GO TO THE ZOO

Anyway yeah kid you're trying far too hard to prove that this is some great romance, none of that needed explaining. As for the question, let her pay if she wants to. Women need to make a choice between wanting chivalry and wanting equality, not taking the bits of each that suit them best

First of all I see no reason why a 20 year old girl would go out with a 16 year old boy :P
Secondly, January is no time at all to really know someone, especially when you lost contact, and you've only been 'going out 4 days' It's nice to want to meet her though. I doubt very much love is involved at this point..

Laura is also doubtful she'll turn up :P What you going to do if you meet up and it's really awkward, she can't just go home? - Laura wants these answered :P

As for the money side of things, go half, half. If she doesn't have a job by now I suggest she stop being online so much and start looking :P Otherwise it'll be fine, pay half, half.

I agree with Wig44. too xD
