View Full Version : Your perfect life

My mind is often miles away. I have a tendency to space out and fantasize a lot. The other day I just went off fantasizing about a perfect life. It's a happy feeling until you realise it probably won't come to pass, but it got me wondering what is everyones desired perfect life?

For me, I would just like to meet a real nice, like-minded, creative girl. Perhaps go travelling with her before settling down and getting married. We'll start a magazine together about something we are both passionate about, we'll both be co-editors and she can design the covers. That'll kick off and sell well and we'll have two girls, Priscilla and Alice, reside somewhere nice in the countryside, get lots of cats and live happily ever after to the end of our days, free of too much grief and drama. A lot simpler than some others I would imagine, but hey I am a simple person.

What about you?

I like your idea of perfect life :P

Mine is just to meet the perfect guy, have some fun for a few years, then get married and start life. We'll obviously both be teachers, or he'll be a musician, and we'll start our family, maybe adopt children (cos I don't really want to have kids). We'll live somewhere in the suburbs, where there's a lot of parks and stuff, and we'll have a cat and a dog who'll sleep at my feet while I'm working on my next best-selling novel. Hopefully everyone will know my name one day and I can retire from teaching at around 40 to concentrate on writing.

Thing is, it's probably never going to happen.

oh this sounds fun, I daydream a lot too

ok im just going to focus on my career till like late 20s im gonna have no time for a family life or a relationship. im not going for a specific occupation im just taking what I can get but it has to be dealing with cultures or human nature. so ideally ill get to travel and do various things, can't be stuck doing one thing my whole life lol. then I would get married and it HAS to be to a powerful person who works for the welfare of others ie doctor/dentist/teacher maybe even lawyer but if they ain't a career driven, respected person it ain't happening. not because I want everything given to me but because I need someone that will always be higher than me as that pushes me to do better. UNMM kids definitely as long as there's 1 and I get to travel good. & also I would love to protest and do talks against vaccines (bite me) and GMOS and own my own health shop or magazine or both

i dont think of it as day dreaming I think of it as a plan so w/e I do NOT see me settling at 25 with kids working at a shop or in an office or some boring ****....

My perfect life is meeting someone who understands me and who I can understand, and having the wealth (but not fame) in order to do expensive hobbies and retire early a I would like to learn a lot of things in my life. I'd of also loved to join the army in some way, but I'm unsure if that is possible as I have metal rods in my back and I would only apply after college, and of course if I did I would survive that. If I have kids I would want them no later then mid-30s possibly late 30s as i wouldn't want to be a 60 year old who still has the responsibility of a child.

Overall though, I want a relaxed by 60 years old but challenging life for the first 15 or so years of adulthood, and however that is presented I don't mind as long as it is a breath of fresh air and not just paperwork which is overdue.

One of my biggest goals is to be independently financially stable before (if) I have any kids so I want to work towards that, but at the same time I can't say I'm a particular fan of the idea that I'm going to noticeably age in the future. I can't say it's a toss up between having the option to freeze time now or age and have children though because I think the latter is much more important :P

Claymore fan? :P

I can't say I could pin down exactly what my idea of a perfect life is. I know I want to be on the frontier of human knowledge, helping it to progress. I'm not sure if I want children - not while I'm in my 20s anyway. I see long term relationships as an extension to life, not an essential and as such I would only seek one where it an improve my life. My ideal girl would have to be smart, open minded, NOT NAIVE1! and good looking (most important part obv). She would have to be driven to do what she wants like I am and not be clingy. That way I am free to pursue whatever I am pursuing with the type of woman I want.

Ideally I'd like to make it as an indie game dev. In terms of relationships I'd like a nice girl who shares some same interests as me, physically has to be smaller than me and well that's about it, as long as they aren't stone cold ugly. I'd like two kids. I'd like a house with lots of space. I'd like to retain friendships from childhood.

Claymore fan? :P

I fell in love with the name Alice because of Alice Glass but Priscilla came half from Priscilla Presley and half from Claymore. Can't believe I didn't realise Alice was from Claymore as well though! But you gotta admit, there are some brilliant names in that series. Galatea, Ophelia, Flora, Clare, Rafaela, etc. :P

My perfect life would be to go to England to meet the guy I've known forever. We'll live in England for a bit and then we will go back and forth living in our house in america (where I live) and england. I'll be a doctor and he'll be something else idk can't chose for him LOL. Then we will have four kids and live happily ever after(;

To live in a nice cottage in the English countryside, have a nice cottage garden to keep me busy in spare time and to work as a teacher in the local (small) school. A small typical English village, quiet and out of the way in the rolling hills.

i want to become successful and be happy. Ideally I'd want two children, a boy and a girl named Joshua and Isabel-lily |-) I want to live far out in the countryside, with no houses near. I hope to live my life with the person I'm with and be happy with them forever. :)

A perfect life would be boring so I don't want one. I always wished to be famous but I don't want to be any more lol

I think to have anything you could call perfect and know this was true would be the ultimate sin in life. To have perfection would simply mean there's nothing to continue on with?

I'd like to have a career in politics, a good looking husband (he has to be rude, feisty and hot otherwise i'd just fling him on the heap), a few hundred K in the bank, a drink problem (no such thing as perfection!) and i wouldn't change anything else :)

A world where you could work hard to have nice things and not have them taken away by thieving scummy mugs.
