New Forum Skin?

Dear Members,
I think I speak for most of the Habbox Community when I write this thread, I am bored of the current forum skins we have got. Most fansites change them often, Habbox hardly change them and its becoming so boring, and I mean seriously boring.

I was told to write a thread here asking what we would like, Well to be quite frank I would like just a nice new updated skin, because if not it looks like your giving up hope. New skins are good, and they should be often used to freshen up the site every now and again, however it looks like you have forgotten this feature.

A new forum skin would be nice, get back to me on this one please!

Agreed. I used the classic skin for about a million years then when it was removed I changed to the site skin and ended up sticking with it for a bit of fresh air. Some more skins would be nice.

Habbox is not like most other fansites, Habbox does not release a new sub-standard skin every three days just so he can keep hold of it's goldfish members. If we get quality skins then fine, new ones, but only quality ones.

I wasn't going to mention anything about this until I was done working on it, but in my spare time I've been working on a new site skin. I can't promise anything short term because there's a lot of other coding requests right now, but it's coming along alright :)

I know i did a black background with mine... saves power on my laptop, and dont look bad either.

As far as I've seen, you can only change the background image/colour and the repetition of that image, also the forum width (fluid/fixed) and the position of the background image.

I agree with most of these changes I'll speak to Matt about dismissing the fool who's designing our layouts ;)

We update our skins for mostly all of the seasons.. what else haven't we updated them for?

If we introduced lots of new skins you'll be moaning theres too many. The current ones are fine.

I'm quite liking the "Habbox Summer" forum skin. I think that there are currently enough forum skins, and if they add more in different seasons, then I definitely think there's enough.

From someone who cried when the space skin was removed, then cried when the retro blue skin was removed, then cried again when classic skin disappeared for a while: I really like the look of this new skin. And I hate all the V4 skins we have!

I don't think we need any more skins at the moment. I find that quick improvised skins are never that good, and if we are going to have a new skins its better when its been designed and planned over a long period of time opposed to a trashy one.

Just glad i got Admin and i could see it while it was removed (although seriously broken)

However..... Davids new site skin may tear me away from the classic skin. I just noticed that the V6 layout is basically a modern version of the classic Habbox skins, i know the past site skins (like V5 etc) have included the orange and blue, but the V6 one uses it alot and seems somewhat similar to the classic skin. Although i'll miss seeing bonnie blonde at the top of the index everyday
