Phone cases (providing they actually look good and unique) or headphones

T-SHORT FROM S. KOREA
GENUINE PRARDA AMARNI VERSACHE GUCCE

To be fair anything sells on ebay, might be worth finding a niche market to exploit for small, steady profit rather than trying to buy 500 pairs of Nike shoes and trying to consistently sell them at lower prices than everyone else without making a loss. Best to go with someone you're into and know about yourself tbh, then you're more likely to understand its market and all that

I'd go for something low prices + low risk so they're more impulse buys. I know people my age browse ebay for good bargins, but get distracted by low priced tat.

So phone cases are a good idea aha.

because it's an impulse buy

it's like when you go to the supermarket and by the till is a dvd

also I don't know anyone who'd buy something from poundland unless it was a joke

Everyone sells phone covers. If you want to go into business, find a gap in the market, not one that's oversaturated.

You need to find something unique for sure as Misawa has pointed out. I've just searched the term 'Phone Covers' on ebay and the search returned 6,800 results which is what you would definitely call an overly sold item. Think about what people are into these days and what it would take for something to become the next 'fad'.

But its impossible to keep with the trend with xbox games as there's always newer ones coming out, and to be able to sell 100+ games a month i'd have to find a extremly cheap price to buy them at and sell them at a nice level.

How much are you starting on this venture with?

Don't go into DVDs and video games, either. You won't make anything.

That's exactly why there is a market for 2nd hand games, because of trends. People can't always afford to pay the full retail price when the game comes out, and wait to buy it when it's cheaper. It is far easier to hunt down a 2nd hand game on eBay than going from shop to shop. Go check the bidding and you will see what I mean. Anyway it was just a suggestion, good luck with your new venture.

You should think of something like those "Make poverty history" bands. I remember they came out and then the fakes came out and they were just as popular. I still see them around today.

Doubt there will be much profit to be made in Mountain Dew since it's in all the cornershops and wholesalers these days.

Just call me the next 'apprentice' haha!

Furthermore if this is your first steps into doing something like this you shouldn't be doing it on your own and if you're set to go solo at least get some strong, professional advice. You don't want to waste your money thinking you know what is right for it to be totally wrong, that's a complete waste of time.
