I got banned, for security reasons? Why is this?

When I log onto my account it says - You have been banned! The reason for the ban is "a security investigation. Dear Habbo, this account is currently locked as part of a temporary security measure. Please try again in 24 hours. You also may be receiving an e-mail from us soon. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience.".

I have done NOTHING wrong... so why is this? i got hacked this week if that helps with the matter. I've contacted habbo and they emailed me back saying to supply certain info to them, so I have. Why have I got this ban?;S

Habbo recently patched a security breach and if they believe your account was compromised say saftey banned it while investigation was under way

Nothing to worry about, they are just looking into detail on your account as you was hacked during the week of major problems within Habbo!

Thats what happened when I tried to log in my account yesterday.I logged in today but it said my password was wrong?So it doesn't come up with that ban message anymore. I checked my email and it said they are very sorry but they fixed the problem and changed my email the one I registered it with and I can change my password, I tried to but only my old old account was on that email? Not my main one... So I don't know where the **** my main ones gone now? I registered it on the email I got the habbo message from but changed it this week because I got hacked but the one I changed it to says no emails registered on that. I've emailed habbo but no reply yet, are they even going to reply? They just send an automatic email saying to give them my account info like what internet provider I use and ect... tbh I don't think I'm going to get my account back, its all a muddle. It had my EVERYTHING on there... my page, my creds, my furni, loads of my friends ect.. so how do I go about getting my account back? Don't say email habbo, I have, no damn reply. Pretty pissed actually.

he fully correct. for safety precautions because habbo had a hot link security risk where people clicked in what appeared to be legitimate links, but ended up getting their accounts comprimised.

so they have locked a lot of accounts whilst they investigate to see whom is affected.

this has happened to me too (except i didn't get banned, only my email reset for security reasons), i found the email my ID is supposed to be on (one which i got email on) but when i did password reset it didn't work

submitted a helptool request, hope i get my account back

very annoyed they did this, i changed my habbo id login details to make my account more secure now habbos changed it to god knows what and put my habbo account at risk
