I've decided a new computer is well in need, however I am not very good at choosing PC specs, so I need your help!

I'm looking to custom build a PC on a website such as http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ however I have no idea what specs I am really in need of. I am looking to spend around £600-£1,000. The computer will only really be used for searching the internet and rarely gaming.

+REP to all suggestions/replies :)

If it's just for searching the internet, you will need to spend about £400 at most.

I will be using it for gaming too though, since Battlefield and Call of Duty is being released end of summer. Plus I could never get a Dell, I have had too much of a bad experience with them :)
Thanks anyway!

I just got this one a few days ago:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-210-OK

Its £719 when you add windows 7 and the GTX 570 graphics card

I think its awesome, but then again I don't know too much about computers :P

Its fast and so far has handled the games that I've thrown at it!

Looks good, I would really like a custom LED case and all that. The reviews on that look really good though, thanks Matt :)

No problem!

The case isn't bad, it has two white led fans on the front which do look quite cool in the dark!

(assuming you want windows 7)

Slightly better version of the one I suggested earlier. With 8gb RAM, w7 and the GTX 570 its £1064.77

Depends how much you want to spend I suppose :P

Does the default case have LED's? The specs seem to suit my needs though :)

The default doesn't no, but the Raidmax Atlas Black which is included in the price, does :D
