so i called it Aragog.
it's a large white knee'd tarantula or something

I hate spiders, the only thing I dislike more than spiders, is moths, however, I wouldn't mind owning one to look at, but it would be cruel as I wouldn't ever get it out or anything and i'd be too worried about it escaping.

My mum had a pet tarantula when i wasn't born but my mums friend stepped on it by accident in the house and squashed it :L

is that not just a garden spider? :L In all seriousness, I find that sort of size just as bad as a huge one as it can crawl anywhere if it escapes :L If I had to have a pet tarantula it would have to be around the size of the back of my hand, and slow moving. Does it move fast?

nah, it's got a furry arse and it does sorta look like a tarantula. it's already gotten a little bigger.
I haven't seen it move yet, as you can see the tub is quite small at the moment.

Anyway my dads friend has one and he used to walk into the house with it on his face, what a creep. I hate all spiders they move to fast and scare the hell out of me :L

Of course not. When have you ever heard of a spider webbing up someones mouth and nose to suffocate them? As if spiders even know about breathing and oxygen. Even better, when have you ever heard of a web so strong that it can't be broken or torn? :P
