Hiya,
I am going on holiday soon woo!!!
And this holiday is mostly based on waterparks and the sea and swimming pools, basically water!!!
So it would make more sense if we bought an underwater camera right?!
Can anyone find me a good underwater camera good megapixels but a good price.. I dont wanna spend to much money because it'll only be used once a year and were I live is near central london so yeah... no good beaches or w.e

So if somebody would find a good underwater camera i'm giving +rep for all help :)

I wanted an underwater camcorder / camera for our holiday to Florida in August so I think we're buying the Kodak Zx5. http://shop.kodak.co.uk/store/ekconseu/en_GB/pd/PLAYSPORT_Video_Camera__Zx5/productID.222971300

My Dad has done a wholeeee lot of research and this seems to be one of the best out there right now, for a reasonable price too.

You might be just as well buying a disposable waterproof camera. Their quality is great as long as you buy a good one (suck as Kodak's). The pictures often come out brilliantly as I develop them.

It is fun to play guess where the customer has been on holiday :P

The problem with buying a real waterproof camera is that you may be scared in case it gets damaged. Plus you have to watch what depths of water you will be going in as after a certain depth the pressure can build up and destroy the camera. I have always been a bit iffy about cameras that prove they are waterproof, they aren't often as I have had a lot of people in the past bring back a waterproof digital camera saying that it wasn't waterproof.

Hope you manage to find a camera that is suitable and enjoy your holiday :)

(P.s I work at the Photo centre in Boots and I process a lot of underwater stuff :P)

Get a gopro sports camera. They're brilliant!

Can take it down to 60m, plenty if you aren't deep sea diving!

The current one I have, its a great little camera and cheap as chips! Perfect for taking snaps at the waterpark like I did last week and also in the sea too
