View Full Version : Wireless Internet/Router
Im with Virgin Media and I am still connect to the internet via wires. I have an xbox, pc, laptop and my mum has a work laptop. My mum's work laptop HAS to be connected via wire because the thing can't pick up any wireless but I want my PC and xbox to be wireless. Is there a way of doing this? So like having a wireless router AND a wire option added?
Cheers

Well, im guessing you have a wirless router anyway?
If not, you'll need one, also, which xbox do you have? old or new slim one?

Did you want a suggestion for a wireless router too? Most wireless routers allow for 3 or 4 wired connections so you shouldn't have a problem. However, as Jaaaaack! asked and is hinting towards, you may need to buy the adaptor for the Xbox as one of the models doesn't come with wireless by default. I'm assuming it's an Xbox 360?

If you need a router buy either Cisco/Linksys or Netgear.

You want Linksys (they're the Home/Small Business subsidiary of Cisco)
