Expect people to be disappointed by it. The Dark Knight was an event, ridiculously overrated film though still is the finest comic book movie, it was already going to be a hit and then Ledger went up and died. Everybody will make the Empire/Jedi comparison but it'll still make a damn lotta dollah.

I for one am anticipating exactly what Nolan will do with the Knightfall graphic novel saga, easily the material used to support this. Given it's also his last Batman film, there's only one way to truly end this saga and whether or not he does this may define comic book movies for years to come.

Oh and Tom Hardy will make an excellent Bane.
