I'd still call it a plane, it has wings. Its a car(ish) shaped aeroplane.

But it's not really like a plane though because with a plane you can't just drive it along places lol

I think it's a good idea but i think when it comes into action it's not going to go as well as planned

I was expecting a really futuristic looking hover-car so it's a bit of a let down seeing something which looks like it was knocked up in someone's garage.

Obviously it wouldn't be practical in today's world because there'd be loads and people could just fly into each other. We need roads.

Oh, I see TopGear is airing their new flying car this week on the show...

It looks a lot like something they would make. Sure, it will probably go out for sale next year, but so do many other vehicles. You can buy tanks to drive about, doesn't mean you can or should, or it would be of any use. Besides, people would need the appropriate license to use these, and I think air travel is going to be worse than land travel considering you've got to fight off air traffic control, and wrestle commericial jets for space, and find places to land...

I can't see it for a few years atleast. Although, I wonder what would happen when someone drink drives.

Agree with most opinions. It looks like it's been made in someones garage and it won't be practical. Although it might be a good step forward and some rich moron might pay for it to have the first flying car, I doubt it will do very well. Hover cars are what everyone expects.

They need to make cars run on urine first, our fuel will finish in years to come.

Yes because the wings on there are just invisible.

Just looks like a **** looking plane with an extra wheel.

A flying car is in other words an aeroplane. These things are a long way off, if ever - i'd presume flying is a lot harder than driving therefore it would exclude many from driving, it would cost more in fuel therefore excluding more than are already excluded from driving, it would require a massive air network system along with adding to noise pollution and to top it off, because of the reasons i've listed its unlikely to ever become economical - certainly not in our lifetimes.

Where would these things land also? it would require a complete redraw of our road network, from roads into multi-lane runways.

what is the fascination with cars that fly? it looks dumb and it'll never work. let it go already!

The same thing that happens to everyone who drink drives? They end up in a tree, just not the bottom of one.

I don't think I will buy one when it comes out. It's too expensive
