Holla I'm back again. I can't suss this Wired Furni out so I'm going to ask for help again off you! :)
Ok I'm looking at creating sliding doors for my hotel. I will be using two glass dividers for this.
I want it so when people step on the first tile in the room that the dividers slide open and then shut after they walk through the doors.
I've seen it done before but it baffles me to be frank! I cannot get my head around it!
Appreciate the help! x

Opening them:
Trigger: User walks on furni - select the tiles before the doors
Effect: Match furni to position and state - choose the dividers
Closing them
Trigger: User walks off furni - select the tiles where the door ares
Effect: Match furni to position and state - choose the dividers at a closed position

I'm having trouble setting this up.
Bottom layer = 1. User walks on Furni (which boxes do I tick?)
= 2. Match Furni to position and state (which boxes do I tick?)
= 3. User walks off Furni (which boxes do I tick?)
= 4. Match Furni to position and state (which boxes do I tick?)
I've fiddled around with it where the gates open but nothing else happens & then I can't move them!
Don't worry, I've got to the bottom of it. I fiddled around (more) and found that the Wired Furni should'nt have been stacked in a four.

Additional help:
People purposely mess around with this feature (above) and stay on a specific tile which doesn't allow the (automatic) dividers to slide open. Is there any Wired Furni where I can teleport a user if they have been on the same tile for such a time? Just so that no one can mess it up.

You can get the teleport of furniture for this I think the trigger is User steps on furni and the effect is User teleports to furni and you can delay it to teleport after a certain amount of seconds from when the person steps on there

you can't put a delay on teleports, sorry :( the only way really is to incorporate some rollers which I wouldn't bother with unless it is absolutely necessary to stop blockers :(

Can anyone confirm that this will work/not work? (Mr-Trainor)

You can't add a delay to the teleport effect.
How is the problem actually affecting the doors?

When a user stays on the tile where the doors close. One door closes, the other doesn't. I was hoping that I could set a timer for when a user stays on this tile for.. more than 3 seconds? that they get teleported back into the entrance.

Unfortunately, that's not possible :(. You could just do it so that when they step on that tile where the doors will be, they teleport to the next square, inside.

Ok, thanks.
Do you think it's worth pitching the idea into UserVoice?
