View Full Version : HabboxLive
Hey guys, I'm just wondering how many of you actually tune into HabboxLive (The radio side of Habbox) and how many of you JUST use the forum? I DJ myself but never tune into any other fansites/DJ's because I don't like the majority of the songs they play.
What about you?

Very rarely. I suppose the only time I listen to it is for a few seconds when I first load Habbox.com.
I suppose nothing on HabboxLive interests me that much because they're talking about Habbo most of the time and there is hardly any variety played so I just stick to non-Habbo stations. :)

No. I don't want your mum accidently hearing me talk to random people over the internet telling them what song is coming up next. Or even worse, SINGING!....badly.

I only use the forum, and have only tuned into HabboxLive when people have asked me to in the past. I spent money on a radio so I can choose my own station or put my own CDs in for a reason!

Not really I used to listen now and then years ago when the conversation on the radio was... better
I only tune in when someone asks me to otherwise I never tune in because I want to..I'd rather listen to my own music and non-habbo stations ;p
I don't tune in purposely, only when someone asks me to really. Usually I just click the stop for 30 days button but clearing my cache etc means it's turned into a habit.

On occasions which I have to do my duties as a Senior DJ (tuning into other DJs). Apart from that, no.

Well since I have stopped DJing at HxL I don't tune in as much due to it isn't the first thing I think when I log onto my laptop!
I don't tune in as often as I used to and that's because my music taste has changed quite a lot and I don't listen to much mainstream music anymore. The only time that I actually do tune in is to see if the DJ is advertising the Habbox Event or if someone tells me to if they're on air, otherwise I would just listen to my own music. :)

I don't really tune in, i'm not a huge fan of most of the music played so I listen to my own.

Lolumad?
I'd never tune into HxL Again its gone down hill dramatically compared to what it was.
The DJ's arent as enthusiastic, and at times nowdays they sound rather robotic, they all say the same things.
@Molly, You was a great DJ, i was in the shower tuned into you on your very first show ;p
I don't unless it's a friend or a special show and I remember to

I avoid it at all costs, find some people not professional or generally immature! Last time I tuned in was when Oli (swear it was him) DJ'd for a one off.

Nope.
It's the same generic songs, played after each other, in crap quality. You could download the same 15 songs, from youtube at something crap like 96kbps or 128kbps, put them in playlist and press 'shuffle'.
That's what habboxlive is now.
We need to roll back a few years, to when we had people who'd do things like 'the rock show' or 'the drum and bass hour' something like that.
It's majorly depressing listening to the same rnb/pop songs, in 128kbps, every hour.
I personally don't listen to HabboxLive. I purchase music on iTunes to listen to them on my own accord and sometimes DJ but mainly stream music because I hate my voice >.<
So the answer,
No I don't tune into Habbox. But I use HabboxForum all the time :)

I used to listen loads but now not anywhere near as much, normally it's just if anyone asks me to or if there's a special event going on really :P

I don't listen to habboxlive anymore. When i normally want to listen to radios I just choose itunes radio because a lot of the habboxlive djs do far too much talking, which is what they need to do for the habbo players I guess, it doesn't tickle my pickle. I listen to a radio for entertainment not competitions.

Exactly what Tom said, tbh.
Too repetitive, bad quality.

People should give constructive feedback rather than just slating it. I only listen on rare ocassions, but that's only because I prefer to have the control over what I listen to, I also skip through songs half way through if I get bored, So playing my own music from Itunes is a lot easier, but I do tune in every now and then when i'm bored.
I occasionally listen, if it's someone i'm good friends with or it's like a call in show.

I listen on both sites depending on what I'm doing. It's normally Habbox because of the rare values and news etc. I do go on Habboxlive sometimes although there is nothing pulling me toward the Habboxlive site really.

I'm usually tuned in, but I agree with some of the criticism, the DJs do a lot of talking. Some DJs even constantly interrupt or end a song early to update a competition or something. I'm new so I can't compare it to how it was years ago, but there's always room for improvement I guess. :)

I'm required to tune in as I'm a senior.
Although, talking about general listening, I only tune into certain dj's that play what I like.
if i'm honest... I only tune into HxL when I have to because 9/10 i just put a load of Rap & Grime in sam on auto DJ :)
But i'd prefer if we didn't all play the same mainstream artist day in & day out, it does get boring

Nope not really, i do sometimes but most of the music they play is like too childish for my taste
Nope don't anymore. It's gone downhill with DJs being boring in their conversations, occasionally sounding robotic and need more content and better planned shows. There lacks personality.
Also, I prefer my own music, seeing I dislike a lot of the chart stuff.
I'll only listen to it if one of the people i like is djing :l

No, I don't tune in unless someone asks me to. I prefer to listen to my own music since the music played on HxL is not my taste. :P

You can say it's not to your taste, but pop music is hardly childish
I very very rarely listen to it myself, mainly because it's a radio the is centered around Habbo and Habbo no longer interests me
